I had read reports about slow play, but we were not held up at all. We had a noon tee time on a Wednesday. The course is interesting with well placed bunkers and water which means you certainly have to think your way around the course. Good practice facilities with a range, chipping and bunker practice green and putting green. Dinner was nice and we were well looked after by the service staff. place to get out of the city and enjoy the wide open county side, all while still being at a wonderful estate. Nice place and very popular with weddings too, stayed here for 5 nights and thought it was ok. Stayed here for bit disappointed with the food as not a menu to be fair. Went for a business conference and what a treat it was! From the gorgeous grounds to the super and fantastic food (if breakfast wasn't so full of choice and filling, I'd have had seconds!), I'm already thinking I'll need to go back as a personal treat. holes arrival up long drive. Accommodation widely spread on site so long walk from to dining room, ok in summer but in cold and wet unpleasant. Upgraded in main house was barren and soulless. Only one chair. No slippers or bath robes, toiletries in big containers you can't reach from bath. Mugs for coffee/tea dirty. Poor view of bins/work area. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Dining cold, we asked to move away from big single glazed windows and service beyond slow, Food was delicious, thank you chefs. Food for conference less and cold, Swimming pool awful. Downstairs, dull dingy, not inviting at all, had expected a really spa area. Beautiful and vast estate with modern decor, which kept that classy spirit. It gets difficult to navigate after a few drinks at the bar, but if you wonder outside at night, you'll be treated to some fantastic views. The food was fantastic, especially the breakfast and lunch buffets, rooms, whilst not the biggest, were cosy and the beds had fantastic mattresses that you don't want get up from. Didn't get to play golf, but hopefully will return as really enjoyed the stay. I have been fortunate enough to here several times a year for many years with and have seen it in every season, absolutely beautiful hotel & stunning grounds. The food is great, relatively decent price point too. Some walks nearby if you are a keen walker, and lots of wooded areas to walk through and explore, seems to be very popular with mountain bikers as majority of the surrounding area is relatively flat. It's a short walk into Mortimer too which has a handful of cosy traditional pubs which is great. Personally I haven't had played the golf course here but I do hear very reviews about it. The mansion house rooms are immaculately clean, very spacious too. It has plenty of outdoor seating and a separate terrace area which is in summertime. The team here cannot do enough for you, always super friendly, polite and courteous. Really cannot fault the place at all. Definitely worth a visit! Stayed on the 19th of January 2024 following the tragic death and funeral of my 47 year-old brother. The was just what we needed and the at the hotel made it a really pleasurable for both the adults and the children. Beautiful, clean, well-equipped hotel. grounds and the mansion is gorgeous! The suite (room 201) we stayed in was both luxurious and well-equipped as well as spacious and nicely situated. The bathroom products are high quality and smell and there was an excellent provision of water, tea, coffee etc. Wonderful customer service start to finish, especially from Kelly Norris and some little goodies for the children who have also been through a lot this last few weeks in losing their uncle. They had big smiles start to finish and made some memories. Food in The View is delicious. The shoulder of Beef was immense and the breakfast provided is second to none. Bar meals in Benedict’s were too. Plenty on the menu for children and lots of space for them to explore as well as a sized pool. Our children loved their so much our daughter made a thank you note. We really appreciated all the little touches to make our special and cannot fault the hotel or the staff. We will definitely be returning and if we weren’t married already, I would be suggesting we have our there too. It’s really worth a visit! What a fantastic team! A birthday party, with food and outstanding service! Credit where credit is due, the service is a hell of a lot better than when I use to (customer facing lol) there! Well worth a visit or consideration for wedding/party venue, Aaron, Charlotte and (please forgive as I didn’t catch her name but she is in the pic) were incredible (both friendly and professional) and made the day feel even more special! venue, was there for a conference. Food and drink were excellent High rated My husband and I got married at Wokefield Park Estate on Saturday 21st December 2024. Well, what an amazing day, everything went to perfection. The team, Vanessa, Ivan, Mirriam, & Olga to name only a few were very attentive, friendly, and made me feel very special on my day. The team pulled everything together and every attention to detail was thought about and followed through. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for me and Mick before the and on the day. The rooms are beautiful. Even the honeymoon suite was decorated at the end of the night with some finishing touches. I won’t say what they are as I know someone who is getting married there soon and don’t want to spoil the surprise. You did an amazing job and i would highly recommend anyone thinking about getting married to consider Wokefield Park Estate. What a beautiful venue to get married at! I was a photographer here last summer to shoot a and although it rained most of the day we were able to get some photos inside the building. Rooms have big windows which let in a lot of light and the design and architecture of the rooms just added to each photo looking great. We’d love to here again! I stayed at devere wokefeild estate last week and what an event that was first of all you need to get some new or train them on there jobs properly each time I came to reception it would seem that either nobody is on the desk or they were all just chatting among themselves no care for your customers secondly the attitude of your is diabolical I requested that I have my changed as mine was dirty and refused to in that one the young lady didn’t seem to care she was far to busy talking to whom I assume is her partner quiet loudly about things that shouldn’t be spoken about at definitely will not be staying again i wish I had taken photographs of my dirty clear !!! 1⭐️ Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
