The outdoor swimming pool complex of Bülach is great. Several pools available, be it for people who swim laps but also for kids who just want to enjoy slides, a torrent channel or a waterball game. Even for the little ones there is a separate pool. For kids there is also a sand pit and a playground. The restaurant offers various dishes along with snacks and drinks. Clean and well managed changing rooms are available. For those who like doing a bbq there are facilities at two fronts and also youngsters who like to play beach volleyball have their own pit. Given the fact that the population of Bülach is growing the size of the swimming pool area might become an issue but so far it is or was okay. Staff is very friendly and competent. During the extremely hot days, it is worth to visit this place in Bulach. Plus side, it's fun and for people from all walks of life. Down side, parking is limited so the other parking available are paid parking either 200 meters or 300 meters down the road. The snacks seem to be quite pricey too e.g. for a 5 pc chicken nugget and fries with ketchup, it sets back at 19 Swiss Francs. Super place to visit and take a swim... There is a place for everybody. Specially good for weekdays but Weds afternoon (free school half day) because otherways is very busy. Great place to visit during the hot seasons, can get a bit overcrowded. Still nice big place with plenty of shades and play area for young children. A restaurant that serves good food (Tibetan menus too) and the usual fast foods. The open swimming pool complex of Bülach is great, really great. Staff is courteous and always friendly. The structure is suited for people of all ages and conditions, from kids to grown-ups, and also quite accessible for people with limited mobility. There are BBQ places, plus 7 "swimming places"/pools, a sand pit, playground, a thing to jump on, football area, beach volleyball court, a little store for swimming accessories, a canteen, lockers (you need a 2 Franc coin to use them, which is returned, so they are free), table tennis, good shade. The only thing I dislike is the smoking, especially in the kids area even though it's open air. Perhaps the smoking area could be limited, or even smoking totally forbidden - it's 2024 people, quit this shitty smoking habit already… 9 chf entry Great spot for a hot summer day.
