We hadn't had during our break in the Netherlands until visiting this place. We went mostly as it was conveniently located on our journey home and we had children with us to entertain. We are very glad we visited. The service was friendly and quick and the food was really good and reasonably priced. It was absolutely ideal as a journey stop-off point because of the fantastic children's play facilities - great for them to burn off some energy in the middle of a long car journey! There was a good play area, small pedal go-cart track, even a football pitch area. There were also animals to see - goats, chickens and a very cute deer 🦌. I really enjoyed the apple and cinnamon sweet pancake and the kids loved their cheese and ham savoury ones. Interesting concept, but really oriented on kids. Was at some point weird being there without them 😂 average service, nice variety or (it’s actually one huge thin pancake with toppings), one healthy option. They loved it. Playground is a bit worn out but nicely surrounded by treea and there are some goats. We were impressed with the pannekoeken. The atmosphere is really nice and excellent for kids - bikes on a track, all sorts of cute houses and things to climb on, goats, roosters. Super! Very cute labourers (gnomes). Multiple times come back here for the amazing gluten free pancakes! Would recommend going here if you are in for a treat! They even get the pan cleaned and use a new tea towel to serve to gluten free separate from the normal with gluten pancakes. I was surprised by this place in a good way. We initially wanted to go to Hans and Gretel pancake house. This was actually better, especially for parents. The playground is really good and you can see your children at all times. It is a very charming place in the forest and the food was good. The only minor thing is that the staff never asked us if we wanted to have another drink or a dessert. They took our first order and never came back. Very large outside playground for kids of all ages. Great for families!
