A lot of young people. This plaza, 40 years ago looked different, it was a park with benches, grass, flowers...and i loved it. Now it is a big interlock patio, nothing green, it looks depressing to me. Good think though is the National Theater building which captures your eyes and make you forget about the all concrete plaza Theater, club, restaurants, caffee shops...it is a nice place to hangout... and there are also diferent stores from books to electronics and clothes and more... 👍 If you are theatre lover and if they are running any show then go ahead but most likely everything will be in Romanian or Hungarian. Otherwise good place, well maintained. Retro It was an enjoyable place to spend a couple of hours relaxing and watching the world go by drinking coffee from a local cafe and easy icecreams . There was a market nearby which we enjoyed as well. The place is not good maintained and there absolutley no touristic markings. The view is nice, but practicley thats it. The two Shopping centers on the right and left sides are overpriced and with bad quality, the Theater dosent has any program for visitors and there are no interesting restaurants in the area. The bus station dosent has any cover in case the Weather is rainy and during winter is slippery becouse they never clean it. Beautiful place in the heart of the city. A must-see fit travelers. Plus the majority of buses stop here :) The perfect place for a nice sunny afternoon stroll! There is a chance that the car traffic will be closed on weekends so the whole main square is free. Nagy ola templom ! This place looks like a rock. Boring, plain, sad. The fountain is borderline abandoned (the one in the parking lot was never even probably turned on), vibe only comes from the pigeons and gelateria nearby, too much concrete, although the christmas shop brings the vibe(in the winter). The fountain needs fixing. Nice place and really clean. Perfect for a short stroll. Not too many choices when it comes to cafes or restaurants.
