Our teacher was criticising the owners of low care, that the artists works and workshops not being properly preserved, and that was already visible by that time. Today I left the museum with deep disappointment. Everything is rotten , the workshop places, the wood sculptures the environment itself feels abandoned. Maybe that is the idea of letting it go after the last creators death, but then it should equally stand a clear statement explaining why museum is in such conditions. I would definitely be afraid of taking children, and I would not feel safe of letting them walk around, as all the under stone paths, sculptures, especially where the central composition/workshop stands it doesn’t look safe anymore, the feeling is that it can collapse at any time.
