It s very well done, plenty of information. The guide makes it very well. Nos explicaron en español lo que podíamos hacer el poco tiempo q estuvimos. Muy bien indicado y aconsejado Otra oficina en Bulgaria donde se nota que hay gente a la que no le gusta lo que hace. Friendly and helpful yet I wasted a lot of time getting to Elena and Arabanasi thanks to them. I went all the way out to the West bus station to get the Elena minibus (took me 45 mins walk and bus), and then the Elena minivan drove almost the whole way into VT to pick up people! And then today a similar story with the Arabanasi minivan. I went to where they told me to wait halfway out of town on the boulevard, and again the minivan then drove into the centre of VT and picked up people at a bus stop right next to the tourist office, ironically. It's always good idea to visit the centre, you'll find there most up to date information about all currently going events in town. Funcionarias con pocas ganas de hacer bien su trabajo You can get here free plan of city and main monuments worth seeing. Staff can describe you where are these places and which bus station you have to chose to go where you want. The free walking tour with Plami was extraordinary with a lot of interesting i formation. Excellent service by multilingual staff who help you with a smile. They try to find a solution for the difficulties faced by individual travelers in Bulgaria. The language barrier and incompetence of other public services should take an example here. Bulgaria has a lot to offer in terms of tourism. Public transport and poor service is a serious work point. It is written on the door of the office that the working hours from 01.04. to 31.10. on Saturdays are from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00. We tried to visit the office on Saturday 08.04.2023. at 15:02 and it was closed. We were told there were brochurres ver there. That's it. Felt like very unwelcome intruders invading their permanent break from work. We were a group of 17 French students and we asked the T.I.C. to organise some activities in the old craftsmen street. We were separated in 3 groups, one in an art workshop, an other in a pottery workshop and the last one in a pastry workshop. Those activities were so great. The painter was really nice and taught us some art technics to create nice drawings ! The pottery craftsmen were really nice, he was with his mother and told us about the technics of the pottery and the bulgarian traditions, and finally Samovodska Charshia, the women of the pastry almost gave us tears, she was so nice ! We had really fun with her, we will remember her for a long time ! So much fun in Veliko Tarnovo ! Thank you ! Maison Familiale Rurale de Pontarlier, France. Very useless, people at the office are not very kind, rather scoffers and they gave us silly advices. Don't go there, unless you want to be in a bad mood for the rest of the day.
