We've been welcomed with a warm smile and wonderful atmosphere. The dishes are very tasty. We tried 7 different traditional dishes and everyone suited all of our expectations. I would recommend the chicken kavarma and Boliarka beer. A drawback is the fake language barrier: the waiter use to add some dishes which weren't ordered. The prices were another wonderful surprise. Before leaving, we were given a gift (a small bottle of white dry wine). We'll be surely back! Personel is really friendly, but food was not really good. Meat was burned from outside and raw inside, fish was also burned, salad was just half of cucumber and half of tomato chopped in smaller pieces with a piece of cheese. The staff attitude is awful.. dont go there if you want to risk to get some disiese... When they were serving my soup the so called waiter/bartender/chef/boss guy spilled a bit and he just said "oleee"... There was worm in my soup and they didnt even apologize... The glassess were not clean... They dont have change and will make facials that you dont have exact money to pay... Good restaurant. Tasty beer, low prices for the city center. Good place to feel the bulgarian vibe. It is so close to the main street and then again so hidden. I enjoyed the atmosphere - with traditional bulgarian drawings on the walls and the bulgarian music. The food was nice. The food is awful indeed, we have ordered lots of meals and nobody liked it at all, even the salads.... Also the service was extremely slow. Cannot recommend at all. Над 40мин чакахме за пържени картофи. Супи нямаше никакви, а седнахме заради това. Мръсна вилица. Обслужва се се само едната маса, както и резервирана маса за след два часа. Цените са по селски - картофи 5 , 6лв -това е само позитива. Донесоха ни мръсни прибори. Имаше народна музика, което и дава едната звезда. Храната е като за селска кръчма - не е нещо специално, но отговоря на цената. Като бонус - поръчваш 1л кана айрян - и ти се смята като 5 чаши по 2.50лв = 12.50лв. They were welcoming folks even to these yanks :-) We were hungry after our adventures at the fortress and a little shopping. The food was flavorful, filling and a great value.
