The multimedia visitors center in Veliko Tarnovo was very well assembled and cozy, which made our visit there very pleasant and informative. A place where foreign tourists can truly grasp the life and atmosphere of Veliko Tarnovo of old, when it was the capitol of Bulgaria and a focal point for traveling merchants and craftsman. Well organised museum, creatively displayed objects and eloquent representations - insights to the local and national history. One of the absolute best visitor centers and interactive museum displays I have ever seen in the world. The tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and was very good at translating to English. Her historical knowledge was vast, and she had many helpful vignettes to explain the history of the area as well as the nuances of the historical dramas.
