We came after using Google Maps to find a good place for dinner that wasn't pizza. We're so glad we found this gem. We are traveling from the USA and I have been missing a good salade. This was the best salad I've had in the last 2 weeks of being in Europe. Lots of different fresh vegetables with a light vingrette dressing. I also go mussels and they gave me a dish of water and hand wipes which was very nice. My husband got steak which was well cooked and seasoned. It came with wedge potatoes and grilled bell pepper, eggplant and zucchini for a balanced meal. We shared dessert which was light and not overly sweet. They have a large covered porch, great for being outside but out of the sun. Service was attentive. I definitely recommend!!! The other reviews motivated us for a visit and we do not regret that. The stuffed squids are very good and also the pizza was delicious. The portions are very huge and the service is multilingual and fabulous. 14 euros for meat I could've made at home after a night of being drunk. The meat was dry as powder and almost zero to none of spices on it. Lets not forget also that they were charging extra for fries which were 4 euros. If u want to have a drink here it would be ok but for eating I would avoid like Chernobyl in 86. Avoid at all cost. My friend ordered tagliatta and the waiter was clueless about it while it was on menu. My friend had to explain to him and show it menu. Just avoid. What a nice surprise. Friendly people, giant and fresh dishes and good prices. If you are passing buy, enjoy! We stopped there bc we was going to italy and it was on the street but catastrophic!i I ordered a pizza too and it was terrible ! The pizza was freezed and with inside prosciutto and mushrooms when i ordered only with salame. The waiters and the guy that own the restaurant was so disrespectful and mean. We order a plate and we asked 4 times if we could have just half of the plate and we would pay the half and he said yes 4 times and than at the cashier he was saying he never told us! … SO BAD ! Excellent place on the road to Pivka, delicious meat and seafood, great variety of choices. Very friendly staff, generally relaxed atmosphere. We loved the home-made beef soup in particular. Good food, great price and awesome service. What more can you ask for ? Fish plate for 2 people 50 euro. Big portion, 2 fishes, calmars, small grilled octopus, shrims, squits, pototes with swiss chard and fried pototos. We have ordered tagliatta with rostbeef and pizza. Pizza is frozen. Meat in tagliatta is overdry, there is no cherry tomattoes and just a few leaves of arigula with acettino on side. The waiter didn’t even know that they have it on menu. Don’t eat here. Super friendly, warm welcome and very good food! Generous portions and all prepared with care. Price/quality definitely recommended!
