This was a pleasant surprise near where we were staying on our holiday. An old Roman site now hosted an archaeological dig as well as a museum set in a garden on the north side of town. We had to return the next day to see the museum as it was already closed that day. But it was a nice attraction that was unexpectedly near our rooms. Perfekcyjny monument. This outdoor archaeological site is well taken care of, but as it was wintertime some indoor spaces were closed so we couldn't see the exhibition. Still, there were some outdoor informative panel displays to get some ideas about the site and it's functionalities. Would definitely recommend a visit if you stay nearby the location combined with a short afternoon stroll. The gardens are very nicely kept, too bad the museum wasn't open due to covid19. The local kitty we found was very friendly! Love heviz always, but never went to this place except third time round. This place is by far one of the best places to go to for absolute peace and relaxation. The ruins are attractive and give a different feeling to the place. It’s ancient past alongside the different unique plants makes it a perfect place to go to when in heviz. At night it’s especially great!
