A lot of parking places and you can pay by card. We had a good time, the Csàrda looks authentic, the food selection is good, the service was relatively quick, and the traditional food was good. I recommend the plate for two, good variety of nice dishes. One of my favorite restaurant around Balaton. Best hungarian traditionnal food. There were 7 of us and we came without a reservation and got a table inside. The staff are very welcoming and speak excellent German and English. As a starter we tried the garlic cream soup in an edible bread plate and a kind of ragout. Both soups were excellent and the bread was incredibly tasty. A mixed salad was included. For the main course we had the roast boar, goulash, one fillet and a grill platter for 2 people. All the dishes were delicious, filling and satisfying. I would particularly emphasise the fillet in pepper cream sauce and the grill platter with side dishes, excellent. The roast boar was very tender, the accompanying carrot/celeriac sauce a little too sweet. A little spiciness would have rounded off the flavour (everyone else who ate the roast boar was satisfied). I found the meat of the boar goulash a little more tender than the boar roast, but it was still excellent, as was the sauce. The gnocchi were a little more compact than usual. All in all, fantastic! A restaurant that offers traditional Hungarian dishes. We even had live music! Many thanks for the excellent service! This is a beautiful place, but all the main dishes we ordered were over salted. That’s a pity as the personnel was very nice and the food looked so promising. There were 3 of us and we all agreed that it was too salty. Really nice native place. The staff is very kind and professional. We spend the great 2 hours there after the long hiking trip to Rezi Castle on the hot sunny day, we refreshed our energy with amazing hungarian food and cold beer.
