It is very convenient if you are arriving or leaving from Tirana to have a meal and manage the time to fly. O carpaccio de atum estava um pouco mais gelado que o ideal e a salada de polvo era menor do que eu gostaria. Mas fomos tão bem atendidos, que compensou e mereceu 5 estrelas. Chegamos atrasadas e o restaurante já estava fechado mas mesmo assim nos deixaram pedir e veio tudo rapidamente. Ótima experiência. I told him to raise the issue but he wanted to make things smooth so we didn't say anything. But now I saw another comment that said they used different ingredients for pasta. My linguine was nothing special, I wouldn't order it again. It is definitely overpriced for what they serve. We ordered vegan dishes. The portions were too little. Taste was good. Its more fine dining category so it is expensive. The waitress seems to be in hurry and apparently dont really like to smile. Smile costs nothing but we tipped her small amount to bring out the smile. Great food in walkable distance from Airport. 5 min walk from departures entry. Food was great, also vegetarian options. Definitely recommend this restaurant! 10/10 Overpriced for quality, and honestly, I felt quite scammed… I was recommended to take “Octopus Paccheri”, I was very excited. However, once they brought me the dish, the pasta was accompanied by Tuna and not Octopus.. I was surprised and thought it may have been a mistake by the service. In any case, it looked good, so I didn’t raise anything. It was an okay dish, nothing special. As it is part of one of the best hotels in the airport I expected better. Once they brought the bill I saw it was the Octopus dish, says nothing to me and wrongly I left shocked, silently without saying nothing… Mistake from my side, but it made me felt quite bad. After some research I see some other customers are saying that they ate Tuna with pasta, which it’s not advertised in the menu. On top of that, it’s the most expensive pasta dish, even if for the currency exchange it’s very affordable, I felt scammed with that Tuna dish that’s given as Octopus… The food was decent, but the experience was ruined. The waitress not only had a lack of education but also invented a price — the €9 for a plain spaghetti with tomato and basil was listed on the menu with €4. When I asked she simply said that was an old menu. I’ve paid half that elsewhere (in Albania for far better food), so I suppose here you’re paying extra just for the creativity of making up prices. First of all, we would like to thank the entire Shija team. Incredibly attentive, kind, helpful and friendly. We saw some bad reviews. We can only disagree. If someone wants to eat properly, I recommend visiting a fast food restaurant. But if someone appreciates the quality of food, we recommend Shija restaurant. A huge thanks also goes to the manager, because my wife wanted a salmon tartare, but since the fish was still frozen, he suggested her a fresh tuna specialty, which was not on the menu at all. It was a very choice because it was very delicious as were the other dishes and the dessert we ate. At the end, we got a plate of different fruits for free, which we are not used to in Slovakia food coupled with the vibe around the restaurant. Personally I think all the employees at a right next to the airport should know english, but other than that there is nothing to complain about. Perfectly cooked steak, and soup. Lovely dinner, the is part of the Hotel (we actually don’t stay at the hotel) but the vibe is not like the usual hotel restaurant. We got great service, food and comfortable setting. Close the airport and/or hotels, really worth the walk if you are looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a dinner. We even got some fruit from the house. food that was complemented well with the ambience. The waitress and manager were really helpful and prompt with delivery. I got lunch there twice and got to try and got to try multiple dishes but the most outstanding one for me was clearly the salmon, cooked perfectly and a pesto sauce on the side. is now called Zest (Sep 2025). food (Cezar salad and Pizza 4 cheese), quick service, very ambient. So close to the airport, that it is worth coming here and have a decent meal instead of snacks and sandwiches on the terminal.
