Has a public toilet in the carpark, and enough parking for around 20 cars. This was our first time here and enjoyed this short walk. You can see ducks and swans there are signs saying please do not feed. The path is very good for wheelchairs and prams. We only seen one picnic table. Would call here again if I was in the area. A pleasant short circular on predominantly flat, even paths which makes them suitable for most mobility levels. There is free parking for around fifteen vehicles. There are no toilets here. There are many seats along the path too. Wildlife is plentiful too, for example, we saw Moorhens, Mallard ducks, Robins, Chaffinches and Mute Swans. Haven't been here for a while but it still maintains that air of peacefulness and tranquility. It also holds surprises because we saw a cormorant and a heron. The place isn't litter free but it's not as bad as some other places. The bonus is also that there is a toilet here too and sometimes a van selling coffee. Great views, well maintained and not too crowded. A good place to visit and take photos. Suitable for all ages including young children. Good parking facilities and also only a short from Newtownards. Nice round for a date. Took some seed to feed the ducks/swans, but disappointed to see people had been filling them up with bread. I'd like to see more information for people not to do this as it has no nutritional value for them. It ruined my experience in feeding them as they weren't interested. Fortunately, I had decent company to keep me entertained instead. Kiltonga Nature Reserve is a quiet idyll situated just a stones throw from Ards town centre & quite lovely it is to. To go from the hustle & bustle of every day life to this lovely place is a breath of fresh air, you around the place with views of trees, the lake & wildlife just enjoying the moment. If you're early enough you also get to enjoy a lovely coffee from The Bean Box run by a nice chap who makes a great coffee (I recommend the flat white!) Lovely for a short with the dogs. Plenty of ducks and swans. We even spotted a little family of cygnets. Good to see the birds. Nice quick walk. Toilet and baby change which is great. But due to irresponsible dog owners not picking up the poo I had to use alot of wipes to clean buggy and shoes. If I see a dog owner not picking up I'll be doing it for them and ramming it in their face Beautiful spot for a wee dander or to feed the ducks just outside Ards town.
