Helen’s Bay Beach Park And Garden

Bangor, United Kingdom Park

One of the Best Places To Visits in Helen's Bay Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Brilliant views, well kept area of the coast. Wonderful for a dip in the sea if you're brave enough! Kudos to the ones that are, especially on new years day Nice coastal walk between Helen's Bay and Crawfordsburn Country Park if you don't mind dogs, cyclists and runners. In some places the path is too narrow to accommodate everyone and when it rains it can be muddy. Better to go during the week if you can and leave the weekends to everyone else. Visited 30/12/2024, plenty of parking areas across the area, lots of family friendly and accessible paths alongside the bay water side, great for people of all ages and can see the ships further out as they wait to come into the nearby port. The sand has both firmer sand and soft sand parts which if have younger kids worth keeping an eye as they are on the sands, which in the whole very clean, although couple times found couple broken glass bottle pieces so keep aware if with others and/or pets etc. worth a visit if you can get to the area, as lots of path/routes to walk around and take in the scenery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great time spent here today, not crazy busy but plenty of people milling about. Beach was relatively clean but towards the end of our day we walked the waters edge and there was some debris and discarded rubbish. I will remember to bring a bag next time to lift anything I see. Tranquil settings with great views and plenty of water sports and swimming to get one going. My dog loves it here. Many walking paths here. Its 25 min driving from belfast and worth a visit.. Bring ur food or whatever as there are no shops around Great place to have fun. To have a run or hike or bring the dogs. It also has a bathroom nearby. Sadly no shops were there very close. Great for family walks, dog walkers and dippers. Quiet beach with a calmness around. Few people were around may be due to covid restrictions. One can take a rail and reach the helen's bay station. Hardly 35 mins travel via rail from Belfast. A nice place to spend time with family or friends Absolutely beautiful. First time you fel the water is very cold. But believe me, no 🙂🙂🙂 I enjoy too much Superb beach, summer is beauty here Peaceful Beach: The beach is beautiful : soft sand, gentle waves, and the perfect place for a relaxing. You’ll find plenty of happy dogs running around, and kids chasing the waves. I just wish they had a coffee shop near by! Good place to stretch the legs, walking, biking, swimming. Approx half way between belfast and bangor. Various wee beaches along the coastline. Popular location for cold water swimming.
