Just filled with waterlillies and small chirping birds. There are also turtles, who climb up the logs to catch some sun heat. Not recommended! The road is a complete mess! Tons of mosquitos after dusk... Looks like a swamp now... Lovely place. The in the middle of the woods to which Eminescu dedicated the poem Lacul(the lake). It's filled with Lotus plants, turtles and surrounded by a forest that's protected as a natural preserve. There are many pathways in the woods for hiking, cycling and going to see the Observatory or the Meadow. Even though it was very populated, we still ran into some deer that made our hike even more enjoyable. In the vecinity you can find the memorial home where Eminescu grew up, a place where cultural activities often taken place. Nice place for a short visit Belloo Nice place to spend half a day. The water lilies were just great. Also the turtles and the frogs are an important part of this place. The path to the is easy and pleasant. i would recommend some improvements on the path surrounding the lake. Also the access is free of charge It is a beautiful and peaceful place.. its lovely to stay and meditate 🧘‍♀️.. but some people are not so well behaved and they throw rubbish.. please be mindful and take care of the environment.. Dat fiind faptul ca ne mandrim atat de tare cu Mihai Eminescu consider ca ingrijirea corespunzatoare a lacului si imprejurimilor ar fi un adevarat omagiu. M-am intors acolo dupa ani in care nu am vizitat Ipotestiul. Se poate gasi o terasa la marginea pardurii si un mic loc de joaca pentru copii. Ce putin dezamagitor (din punctul meu de vedere) sunt ATV-urile si se pare ca mai nou traseu prin padure pentru motociclete de teren. Parerea mea ca acest loc ar trebui sa reprezinte liniste si relaxare nu sunet de motoare in timp ce te plimbi cu familia in "aer curat". Fauna si asa putina va fi alungata in acest fel. Sincer, nu m-ar deranja sa platesc chiar o mica taxa de intrare- cat timp locul ar fi mai bine ingrijit. Si codrul, si lacul, par că repetă necontenit numele lui Eminescu... Încă de la intrare, din 50 in 50 de m, exista panouri cu poezii ale marelui poet, stâlpi decorati tradițional, codrul îmbrăcat în aur, iar lacul care oglindește pădurea suspinând... E un loc de poveste...care trebuie vazut, mai ales toamna. Si revăzut de fiecare data când ti-e dor de poezie... Ceva de vis. A must see. Although it’s most beautiful in the Summer Acor acestei locații "doar" 3 stele deoarece cei ce administrează această locație au multe de îmbunătățit ( locația nu are coșuri de gunoi, băncile sunt puține și doar in zona lacului, iar toaletele lipsesc total ). De apreciat ca au făcut o aleea pavată și probabil iluminată ( sunt stâlpi de iluminat amplasati de-a lungul aleii ) Lacul merită vizitat în luna Mai, atunci cand infloresc nuferii și toată pădurea verde. P.s. - în zonă nu aveți de unde să cumpărați nimic - nu sunt magazine sau căsuțe cu apă, sucuri sau cafea. Voi reveni și eu în luna Mai să văd nuferi infloriti. Locația drăguță, însă are potențial mult mai mare. Încă sunt necesare îmbunătățiri, mi-ar plăcea să se amenajeze un ponton și să se poată merge cu barca pe lac vara. In plus lacul nu deloc întreținut, stufărișul sălbatic și uneori creează un peisaj mai mult sau mai puțin " de groaza". Frumos.
