The place is just amazing, the owner has fone a great job. Love the wide space, the tanks, garden and the little horses. We were there on a sunday and it was absolutely packed. And that's a positive thing. The downside of that was the crazy amount of time we waited for our dishes. The kind attitude of the staff compensated for that anyhow. It would also be great if they would add some variety to their menu and maybe some herbs and spices to the fish. This place has huge potential in this direction and i would love to come back and see how they have grown. Great place to eat trout farmed on location. Tripe soup is also delicious! There are many ponds with trout on the territory. Big territory with paths along which you can walk. There is a children's playground and swings. The food is very good! The place looked promising in the pictures. The location itself looks good, lots of green spaces and flowers. However, the food is disappointing. The was too well done and dry, impossible to eat. The garlic sauce barely tasted like garlic, but rather was a very liquid yogurt sauce. The house beer on draft was the worst I've had in a while. We came here for the trout, and that was their worst offering - it was poorly cooked and overpriced. I will not come back or recommend this place to my friends. Nice place to go... when it ia really crowded you will wait for the food ... but there is a lot to do moatly for kids. I can call this like 'Restaurant in the paradice'. It was overcooked and dry and the garlic sauce barely had any of the main ingredients. Interesting fact: even though the trout is priced per 100g all 3 ones from our table had the exact same weight (you could tell by the naked eye that their sizes were different). Pastravaria Poiana showcases majesty with it's beautiful spots like the playground, the gardens and the beautiful ponds. The restaurant itself is no joke either, the bathroom is immaculate, while the food tasted quite amazing. I ordered the with sourcream and polenta and wild rice as a side, altough I would have preferred to substitute the polenta with rice it seems I was not able to unfortunately. The tasted sublime and refreshing. Unfortunately the rice did not arrive at the same high expectations, there was a sweet sauce which I would have rather not tasted, at least without knowing beforehand what it was, it wasn't bad but there was a lack of information given to the clientele. A personal recommendation would be to inform on the menu what surprise you may find with ordering a specific side dish. As for drinks I drank the homemade beer with no alcohol, it was nice, altough not the best quality. For desert while I usually order something made in house, I have the guilty pleasure of loving lava cake whole-heartedly. Very luckily though, they brought me artizanal ice cream to go along with the lava cake which was a very pleasant surprise. The ice cream was amazing, and the lava cake while probably freezed, was still anyway. All in all, a 5 star experience. I'm was there and i really didn't like the way the staff behaved. Frist of all, if a table is reserved, it should be clearly marked - for example, with a sign that says 'Reserved' . It's not acceptable for a staff member to come over and speak rudely to me, saying something like , 'Can't you see the table is taken? I already set it up'. My question is: can't you see that I'm your costumer? And honestly, it's not my job to know or do your job. Very unprofessional and poorly mannered. I'm disappointed.
