Great for walking or building sandcastles. You’ll find plenty of shells along the shore. Parking is available right at the entry, which makes access easy. There are a few seating areas near the parking lot, so if you bring a snack or lunch, it's a good spot to relax. Overall, a peaceful and scenic place. Its ok to be here for watersports, but I don't think so it perfect location for swimming or picnic. Banna beach, Rosebeigh, Ballybunion and Inch would be better for swimming. There are loads seaweeds in the and you can smell rotten fishes if the weather gets warmer. However, when the weather is nice, this is pretty crowded. Foodstore available nearby but very limited choices. The is incredibly and serene. It's not crowded, and the sunset viewed from the is stunning. 1.85m height barrier A on a winters day, so sandy and not one jellyfish, so common on alot of beaches The parking is really convenient. The is beautiful. The walk is lovely lots of nice rocks, sea glass and seashells. It has really great toilets as well which is perfect after a long walk. Really nicely maintained clean and tidy. Super convenient. I really enjoyed a quick stop at this to dip the toes in the and look for seashells. Lovely and very quiet as well, went on a weekend and it was pretty empty with just a few people taking a stroll. Nice place to take a long walk, clean and as well. Would recommend stopping at this beach. Lovely small town nearby as well Una playa salvaje con un entorno espectacular. Aguas congeladas... Beautiful, wide, long - clean toilets, facilities to wash your hands and a free drinking dispenser (which unfortunately didn't work when I was there). Road to the goes directly from the village of Castlegregory out towards right, but it's only two mins with the car. There's parking and some picnic benches, too. I found the most shells on this beach.. and interestingly, there's an ancient looking tree stump right at the edge of the - would absolutely love to know what's the story behind that. It looks as if it once grew there, before the was there..?! Great day out Quiet with amazing scenery on all sides. Fantastic place to take the dog for a run. Für mich einer der schönsten Strände Irlands Clean and very well maintained.
