This is my fourth using their horse/jaunting cart through this company with our groups visiting Ireland and I can’t say enough good things about them! From the ease of booking to the staff, and horses, it’s just a treat to showcase this beautiful to newcomers in style. We will be back again! This was our second trip to the Gap, the guides are so nice and full of information! Make sure to read the details of the trip, this will make your more enjoyable, you are bound to get true Irish weather! Dress warm and die wet conditions! Great with amazing views! We had a great jaunt with Callum and Maggie! Although it was raining fairly hard and we elected not to spend much at Muckross House & Gardens, Callum made sure to give us a wonderful narrative of the history of the Muckross Estate along with the rest of Killarney National that we passed by. We also stayed very dry even though it was raining fairly hard! To cap everything off, Callum gave us a wonderful lunch recommendation for JM Reidy’s! I wouldn’t miss it if you’re in the area, along with the car ride! The car and boat through the Gap of Dunloe and the lakes of Killarney National was BY FAR a wonderful highlight of our trip to Ireland. The company was friendly and helpful and the scenery was breathtaking. Our Vishnu was a very nice young man and it was nice to hear the history of his family’s car business and legacy as we got started. His horse, Mary Kate, was new to service and a bit skittish and didn’t seem happy with her blinders or being pet. The through the was very nice to Muckross Abby, which is amazing, but riding through the actual seemed very short, considering the through town was half of the spent on the cart. The price didn’t seem justified to us in the end since we thought the through town was going to be picturesque with a little history given, but not the case. We left the center of town immediately and passed gas stations and modern hotels with cars passing us by until we reach the entrance of Killarney National Park. The had a few bits of information to share about the which we could not hear since he was facing forward unfortunately. We enjoyed being on the cart and it would have been a very long walk to the Abbey which I knew I was not up for after a recent knee injury. It was a beautiful day and a nice experience, but would not recommend it again, unless purely for transportation because of the price and actual you are through the park. Duration was an hour and 15 minutes including a 20 minute stop exploring the Abbey. Paul was great! Very enjoyable,a favourite part of our trip to Killarney. We took a car from Ross Castle. Colum, the driver, was so pleasant and shared lots of interesting historic and local information, and some great jokes too. Nancy, the horse, was a character and it was so idyllic to listen to her hooves as we took in the views. We booked a combination ticket, and also enjoyed the lake on the Lily of Killarney. It was very relaxing and again great local, geographical and historical information shared during the cruise. Spectacular views. Taking the drawn carts through the Gap was a neat experience. Having 4 adults in 1 cart was not. Cart was far too crowded to enjoy the experience. Two adults per cart - no more. This was one of our favorite things on our trip to Ireland. Paul was very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. We were able to spend at the Ross Castle and learn about the national park. We HIGHLY recommend this tour! We had such a lovely our Paul was 3rd or 4th generation of drivers and was so knowledgeable of Ireland and if horsemanship. It was a gorgeous through the with afternoon tea it was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon so glad we did this!! This was such a great experience! We did the Muckross Abbey & learned so much on the way. So glad we did this - it is something we will always remember Even though it was raining we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We stayed dry and warm inside the cart which had clear plastic sheeting that protected us from the elements. The was knowledgeable and fun! The horses are clearly loved and cared for and the scenery is beautiful. I highly recommend. We had a lovely on our with Paul and his wonderful partner, Jessica. Paul was very informative, including bits of humor and facts into every story. Coming from a background, we really appreciated the way the horses were looked after and how much Paul cared for Jessica. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Everyone enjoyed their on the lake and the car through the park. It gives you a sense of the nature beauty that surrounds you and a great introduction. We took a jaunty car through Killarney to Ross Castle as soon as we arrived in Killarney. It was a wonderful way to start our here… it was a beautiful day. The pointed out camouflaged deer we never would have seen, and told us some history and facts. The other riders were so friendly. We had the best and loved seeing the and castle. Would highly recommend this! Absolutely delightful David with a wicked sense of humour. He made the journey through the Killarney National interesting and fun. Explained to us how well the horses were treated, and some of his words of wisdom will never leave us. Our was followed up by High Tea in the Great Southern Hotel. The food was excellent and varied, the ambience was elegant and our hostess, Martina, was most attentive. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. We did the lake and cart and throughly enjoyed them both. Paul our boat captain was very friendly and informative, and Lewis made sure we had a good stopping to let us get pictures and see the sights. Chrystal was our guide and she was very friendly as well. So fabulous! My husband and I absolutely loved our Jaunt & Tea. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and of course the horse, Troy, was a handsome stallion. We got to explore the Ross Castle within the Killarney national park. At the end we had a delicious afternoon tea and treats. Such a fun experience. My sister and I took a morning jaunt to Muckross House & Gardens. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather or a more gentle and charming pair than Colm and Maggie. This was our favorite outing of our trip by far and well worth the price. Meachel was a wonderful we had a great and happens to be the only two in the car for our tour. He is Dunn and had answers for all our questions. 100% recommend Lovely of the park. Friendly and informative driver. Definitely worth doing. Paul was a delight! He was knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. The was the highlight of the day!
