During my visit to Ireland - I wanted to try something new. And since I had never been on back I wanted to try it out. I booked the 1 hr trip through a phone call. Pretty easy and straightforward. I believe you can also book through their website. there is plenty of car parking space, and were greeted extremely warmly by the and also asked about our with in general and how we were feeling. We then chose helmets and boots from a selection of sizes. The stables were home to many horses, and I believe the assigned based on each person’s height and level. Once we were on the horseback, they made sure we were comfortable - and gave us basic instructions on how to steer and handle horses. The were very well trained. There is a path which the follows. There was trotting- for which I was very nervous initially but the made sure to we felt comfortable. The even clicked our pictures when we reached the scenic view of national park with lake in the background. It was one of the most amazing Ireland experience. I would most definitely recommend the activity and the place. I myself plan on returning someday again for a longer ride! It was fun, exciting and the were very and helpful. A Definite MUST-TRY! I booked a 1 hour trail with Killarney Stables for my partner as a gift and she was delighted by this surprise! The were fantastic and the Pippin and Rae were very nice and well behaved. The seem to be very well taken care of. The is great, and helpful. They even agreed to change the date of our trail without any problem. We were complete beginners and everything went great! It's such a wonderful experience! I would recommend it without a doubt to anyone interested. 10/10 👍 Beautiful! The girls that took us were very knowledgeable and very nice! experience, husband had never been on a and he loved it!!! We did the 2 hour We had an absolute blast doing the 1 hour tour as a family of 8. They took safety very highly, helmets provided and our youngest rider was on a lead with an instructor. Guides were informative, kind, and patient. You could tell they all really loved the animals. There are no words for the absolute beauty you'll witness in the park! Also, don't believe Ralph when he acts like he's never been fed before in his life! He's a very snack happy horse! We Had a lovely through Killarney National Park. We decided to explore the Park on horseback and went to the stable to check our oppurtunities. The was very and explained a lot and we could book directly at the stable (online booking is also possible). Boots and helmets are provided. Directly before the the asked every person about their Level and (for advanced Riders) also preferences. We (advanced Riders) got a perfect match and the were so sweet and a lot of fun. For 6 people we Had 4 Guides and they were very and explained a lot about the national Park. They always checked on us and made sure everyone was having a time and got along with their horse. We went as mixed group of beginner and advanced riders and advanced Riders were also able to canter through the woods. It was very well organized and the took some Pictures at a Photo Stop. The seemed happy and healthy. We saw the together in the field in the evening with a lot of social contact and space. They really seemed to enjoy their Job and having fun. I would recommend this to any kind of Rider, beginner, advanced or even never on a horse. They have fitting all sizes and Levels and rides for 1, 2 or 3 hours. Thank you (and also Robin the horses) for this lovely experience. 5 of us inexperienced riders took a 2-hour through beautiful Killarney Natl Park. Guides Erin and Lizzie were wonderful and full of local information! We saw amazing views, red deer, sika deer, and fields of gorgeous yellow wild irises. Go, you'll not regret it! Even in pouring rain as we had, then warm sun on second hour.😁 start to the day, all guides were fantastic, and helpful. I had no and they provided positive support and guidance. We chose a two hour ride, beautiful scenery, learning the history from the guides and we’re well looked after. Thank you for an amazing time. The are fantastic and intelligent. The guides are knowledgeable and helpful as well, and give excellent instruction for mounting, riding, and dismounting. They provide boots and helmets free of charge, and have multiple sizes and sanitize both after each group. The trail the guides take you on is gorgeous, with of the Irish countryside. You will also see some of the wildlife, which are equally gorgeous. We did a 2-hour and it was fabulous! Absolutely gorgeous scenery and plenty of opportunities to trot through the fields. Natalie was a guide: very knowledgeable and kind towards both the riders and the horses. She even takes time out to get some beautiful pictures of you on your horse! Would definitely recommend! (In response to those that complained about dirty horses: we rode through puddles so it's inevitable the will be dirty until their end-of-day shower. They were obviously well-loved and taken care of by all the stable crew!) Five Stars – A Highlight of Our Ireland Adventure! Our with Killarney Stables was one of the best parts of our trip. The were kind, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. Each of us was matched with the perfect — calm, well-trained, and easy to love.
