We made a visit after a park run on a Saturday morning. Breakfast for our group. The omelette and Irish breakfast where tasteful. Some of us tried the scones as well. Very good. They also got a kind of scone gluten-free. More gluten free alternatives where there. Sweet staff tha was very efficient. Sammy’s is literally on the Inch beach. Big parking outside. WC. Wheelchair friendly. Beware of buses with tourists coming in for the same time as you Flavorful food in a great location. Went for breakfast at the Cafe on a Sunday. Had the sausage rolls and the mushroom toast (gf). The rolls were a good ratio of flaky crust to sausage mash with an amazing relish. The mushroom toast was bursting with flavor and a hearty portion. The location is unbeatable, go for a stroll on the beach after a meal. The service was fast but the register staff didn't seem to know the menu very well and had an awkward demeanor. Beautiful views!!! Nice outside seating. Prices were high. Service very slow! We ordered two lattes, and a piece of banana cake that looked amazing- but was dry. 🫤 and the frosting and I love frosting, tasted of butter. I would go again. But probably just a cop of tea. Stopped in here after my partner ran the Inch Beach parkrun, and very happily surprised to find we could take our dog inside. Only 4 stars for food because they didn't have the salmon bagel that I'd seen other comments mention, I was really looking forward to that 🙄 We had lunch here while on a girls trip and visiting my friend’s family in the area. Leo was so welcoming and hospitable even though we were there before the main dining area opened. The food was excellent and the water views spectacular. Outstanding service - I would highly recommend a stop here! Wow — I had the best fish and chips of my life at Sammy’s! Perfectly crispy, golden batter with tender, flaky fish inside, served piping hot and full of flavor. The chips were just the right kind of crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside — absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef for nailing every bite! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I was especially impressed by how kid-friendly the place is. Our whole family felt right at home. The staff were kind, attentive, and incredibly accommodating — truly five-star service all around. The stunning beachside location only adds to the experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Sammy’s is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! We visited in October so the busy season was over, but we had an amazing Friday night listening to live music and eating wonderful food right on Inch Beach. The bar is cozy and the staff are friendly and the choice to have small plates or mains was lovely. Called to Sammy's Cafe for a tea & coffee today....shocking, Coffee itself was fine but we got a waffle and a croissant, both were rubbish, neither tasted anything like they should, truly awful. My wife's mug for the tea was dirty, the whole cafe seemed dirty and grubby, especially around the coffee machine. As for the toilets, probably the worst we have seen with a long time in Ireland, both ladies and gents were in a most terrible state. We are "locals", as in we live an hour away and are truly embarrassed for the state of the place which was full of foreign tourists when we visited. Shame on the operators of this place. We have eaten in the restaurant and the cafe section a few times in the past, probably more than a year ago since our last visit and all was fine, in fact probably you could call it good, but most certainly won't be calling again!
