Family owned spot serving delicious (smoked in house),cheese and tasty homemade brandy.Lovely owner/staff. 🌺highly recommend Charming roadside stop with history, views, and flavour On our way from Podgorica to Kotor, we stopped at this charming, rustic restaurant; reportedly one of the oldest in Montenegro. Located conveniently right off the main road (on the right-hand side if you’re heading toward Kotor), it’s hard to miss and offers ample parking and a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside, and it was a perfect decision. The view towards Lovćen is beautiful, and it’s a lovely spot to take a break and watch the world (and the cars) go by. The menu is refreshingly simple: cheese, (pršut), and drinks like water, beer, wine, and of course, rakia. We ordered the and platter with a glass of wine. While the and ham were quite salty (for our taste), the quality was good and the overall experience more than made up for it. This is a great stop to soak in some authentic Montenegrin charm before descending the famous serpentine road to Kotor. Highly recommended for a short, scenic break with a taste of the tradition. What a lovely roadside stop! The was excellent, paired with good and fresh bread. We sipped great rakija, and enjoyed beer served in an ice-cold frosty glass – NICE! The toilet was spotless (always worth mentioning). The host even greeted us in our own language – such a sweet gesture 🥰. The music was a little on the loud side, but not enough to spoil the atmosphere. All in all, a charming place we were happy to visit. Beautiful garden! Family run restaurant. Needed a break after driving the winding narrow road up the mountain. Good spot to try their lunch - and cheese, wine and grappa. Went there as a part of an organised tour and unfortunately such stops can't be avoided on organised tours. The prices are high and the quality, selection and quantity is very sub standard. The behaviour of the restaurant staff is anything but friendly. In 8 Euros they provided 2 hard stale slices of bread, 5 slices of (not tasty), 2 slices of tomato and 3 olives. The so-called "any selection of drinks" has fanta, cola, beer, water. Yes, no tea, coffee or fruit juice for breakfast. On asking what's the cost of breakfast without pork, the restaurant rudely, it's the same 8 Euros- you take it leave it your choice. This restaurant should be avoided. Most of the people from the group ate only about 40-50% of their plates of this "delicacy" Mesmerizing place, thank you for the best experience ever. on our way from Kotor to Cetinje while driving through Lovćen we were looking for a bite. found this as someone mentioned “charming and rustic roadside stop with history, views, and flavour” next to the road offering parking and indoor and outdoor seating. we sat inside as it was a rainy day, the staff was friendly and service quick. had a platter with and prosciutto, bread, tomatos and some olives. the food was of great quality and it was very delicious. would highly recommend to stop and have a quick bite while experiencing what we felt is an authentic Montenegrin moment. Lovely owner and family run shop. Enjoyed food in the shop. Recommend buying one of their fruit wines. Unfortunately the meat and we bought to take home gave us terrible food poisoning so be careful when buying as it is not refrigerated.
