Best viewed after 16 o'clock, because of the sun rays falling at the right angle This great view of three sculptures opens as soon as you start walking the dunes near the mouth of the river. The story tells of three fisherman's daughters waiting for their father. However, in the Soviet years the three figures were also seen as representing three Baltic states looking for help in the direction of the West. A lovely place to sit down after a long walk down the beach, I thoroughly enjoyed finding all these little notice boards and learning the history of the local area, definitely worth looking out fot them for an interesting read. Sculpture is now easily accessible due to all brought sand as there was a big pit around it few years ago. Symbol of the town or some sort.. Nice view, nice beach, can find amber at the beach. Great picturesque place for locals and tourists alike. Especially knowing the true meaning behind the sculptures itself, powerful and beautiful.
