Nice with lots of possiblities for fun. Parking nearby is affordable and entrence is free for the small kids. Sandy floor and very shallow for the small kids near the shore. Else it doesn't go lower than 120 cm for 100 meters out. Comfortable, lots of space. Very shallow lake (OMG)!!! Nice beach, but why do I have to pay to swim at a lake. Wonderful Siófok @ Balaton ! 😍 In the summer it's of course amazing, such a dream place for bathing, and very family friendly! Lake is perfect for children, very shallow and with warm temperatures. Probably the best on Lake Balaton. Cost 1000 HUF per adult (about 3.5 $) Inside are plenty of restaurants and smaller eating places, a small arena for soccer, a stage for music events and other amenities. The area consists of manicured lawn with small trees. We had loads of space (off-season). The staff is very friendly, most speak German and English. Everything is family-oriented, there is a separate outdoor pool for toddlers. Food and drinks are inexpensive. Be sure to get a parking ticket if you arrive by car. It is generally cheaper to obtain parking tickets from the hotels. One of the most popular beaches on Lake Balaton. It can get quite crowded, especially during peak hours, but the atmosphere is lively and enjoyable. The is well-equipped with toilets, a restaurant, and the option to rent sunbeds and pedal boats. A great place to spend a summer day by the water. Clean water. Free beach. Perfect for vacation Good spot. 2.000Huf entrance fee Due to flooding there was no but still an enjoyable experience. Water temp was good and close to local amenities Super It's closed!!! Middle of September. A big fence around it. We have been at so many beaches around Europe, sea and lakes, and never experienced public (?) beaches to be closed down after high season. The whole coastline seems to be privatized so you can't even walk along the lakeside - only 'hotelguest-only-beaches' and 'public but closed' beaches. Disappointing - never again. Nothing special, a fenced part of the coast where the entrance fee is HUF 2500 and for that you get nothing except the steps to get into the water. There is only one shower on such a fenced part of the beach, and it is placed on one side, so if you are somewhere in the middle or on the other side, you have to walk a lot to get to the shower. In general, everything is commercialized in Siofok and it's only important to get paid well. And it's not worth that much. The main is a great place. I recommend you go here and not any other free places, because there is a high chance that they are unmaintained. Adults have to pay 2500 HUF, which is roughly 6-7 euros, on the other hand students have to pay only 1500 HUF, which is a bit less than 4 euros, but you have to show your student ID or any document which proves you're a student. Don't really understand why it's not for free. Minden nap szuper itt lenni Unfriendly security guard was to trying to stop me from going to the toilet because he thought I was going to change there into a swimsuit. Even if I did, it's none of his business. Other than that, the is nice, lot of restaurants and bars. Honestly, how can you call it a when there is no sand? Absurd and utterly ridiculous to name it a beach. It is not a beach. If you're looking for lovely sand to lay on, next to the waterside, like I was, don't come here, you'll be utterly disappointed. It's way overcrowded, it's a seaside resort, sure, but it is NOT a BEACH! You can sit on the grass, you can sit on some rocks, you can walk along the pathway, you can swim in the water, but you cannot lie on the sand, because there ain't none. They seriously need to think about changing the name, because it ain't a beach! Have I made myself clear enough yet? This is NOT a BEACH!!!!!! Got an idea actually! I saw a cliff the other day that I thought was rather cool. Maybe to bring more tourists in, I'll name it Town Square, just to see how many people I can fool into coming to my lovely little cliff!
