Well-equipped with everything you might need to enjoy a full day at lake Balaton, and the prices are great too! Very good prices for various household products, sweets, drinks and wash detergents. A fine beach of Lake Balaton, recommended for families with smaller children. The buffets could be better though. This is one of my favourite beaches small but family friendly and great with young kids. Food is great, and staff is friendly. Tobruk is probably not everyone's cup of tea. We love it because of it's family vibe. Never too crowded, lots of shade and welcoming staff. Very clean too. If you expect gift shops and all the other touristy stuff you find at bigger places you will be disappointed. However for us it's part of Tobruk's charm and the reason we keep coming back every year.
