My with them was a case of deliberate overcharging and fraudulent business practices. ​Here are the facts: ​Misleading Pricing: Despite agreeing on a swap for a small price difference, the owner demanded a completely arbitrary cash payment of €450, on top of the €175 deposit I had already paid. ​Refusal of Documentation: The company refused to provide a proper tax receipt (bon fiscal) or a signed rental contract. They operate with handwritten notes on loose paper, a clear sign of unprofessionalism and potential tax evasion. ​Fabricated Fees: When I questioned the overcharge, the owner tried to confuse the situation by inventing a "cancellation fee" of €152 for a that was never canceled, but simply swapped. ​This company's actions are deceptive and aimed at taking advantage of tourists. I have filed official complaints with the Cyprus Consumer Protection and the Tax Department, supported by all my evidence (emails, WhatsApp screenshots, and photos of their unofficial documents). ​I strongly advise you to avoid this business and choose a more transparent and trustworthy rental in Larnaca. Stay away to save yourself from financial and legal headaches.` I have just handed back a Ridley road hired from GC Larnaca Pro Cycle after a 3 day hire. Colin and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. The was well equipped with good tires and drive train in great working order. I covered around 200Km over 3 days visiting Stavrovouni Monastery some 6,500ft high which looks over Larnaca. The performed perfectly! The shop has a real mix of from Gravel, to E bikes. Next time i’m out i would really like to try the gravel and get to some of the off-road places in the area. I can’t fault the and the shop was easy to access. Thanks Guys! Very good experience, top quality bikes, nice and friendly crew. I rented a Ridley fenix slic DI2 which was a nice bike, well serviced and taken care of. Only thing I could argue about was the fact that I got a size small when I ordered a medium. Initially when we were adjusting the seat height it felt ok - but when I took it out for a 100 kilometer ride, quite early I realized it was too crammed for me. I had to push myself back on the seat for it to be somewhat comfortable, so it was not the nicest ride I’ve done. But all in all - I absolutely recommend this shop for renting a good road bike. Lovely owner who has a really great selection of available, even for those who decide on the fly. Has given me many helpful tips when picking up the in the store, and the pickup of the from our hotel has also saved us some hassle. A repair kit is also provided along with the rental, which is also urgently needed here and has served us well on our tour. We will come again, thank you! Rented a road last minute & got a fairly decent model. Not the cheapest, but the held up well on a 140km ride over 2 days. So can't fault that! Decent selection of other, well kept bikes. Colin the owner was busy, but pretty friendly & easy to deal with! Wasn't offered a refund on early return, but wasn't really expecting to be offered one tbh. Disappointed with both the quality and the attitude I rented what was supposed to be a premium touring from Larnaca Pro Cycle, but unfortunately my fell far short of expectations. Within the first 30 km, I got a flat tire caused by a tube that had a large cut in it – something that could - but shouldn’t - happen on a well-maintained bike. On the second day, a spoke broke in the rear wheel, which caused constant rubbing from the brake pads. A few days later, another spoke broke in the same wheel. This made for a frustrating and time-consuming as I had to locate shops to make repairs myself. When I asked for spokes before the rental, I was told none were provided – apparently because “there have been no issues before.” That might be true in general, but it didn’t help me when I was stuck with a broken wheel. The panniers were also in very poor condition. The rear derailleur didn’t shift properly into the lowest gear, limiting the usable range – not ideal for a loaded touring setup. Overall, the felt poorly maintained for the price I paid. When I shared this feedback with the shop, the response was dismissive rather than service-minded. This could have been a great rental with proper maintenance and a bit more care for the customer – but unfortunately, that was not my experience. Amazing service. We got the we wished for and for an amazing rate. Good from Frank and Colin, would definitely recommend it.
