Stayed here in our 6m camper van as the wild camp spot in the City had a van broken into as we parked! Great facilities. Hot shower included. Toilets clean and stocked. WiFi around reception. Receptionist, a female was excellent. Helpful and spoke English. Flat areas everywhere. Park is 'free form' use any free space... Electricity available. Also free and black waste drop. Park between the reception and the bridge adjacent to the small side road OTHERWISE you will have so much noise from motorbikes, trains and more...👍👌🙏 Good and spacious places. The toilet and shower facilities were moderate. You could get breakfast and food from the restaurant, which was quite good. Next to the area was a swimming pool area where you could buy a day ticket. A short trip to the center of Torun. There was a road nearby where you could watch the sunset. Near big road and wreckless drivers with tuned cars and mopeds. All the night there is loud motor noises and police/ambulance sirens. Grass was some 30cm tall and toiled was peed all over. Location was on the other hand quite excellent between railway station and center. All on all nice camp ground in good location, but do not expect any luxury or silence. We went w a camper, no wooden cottages used but there was quite a few full w families. Toilet and shower room all OK and clean. Because if the nearby roads, site is a bit noisy but if you sleep well, like me, no issueat all. Very good approximity to town, just on the other side if the Wistula, by bike its 5min to city center. Good as a stopover and a visit of the city (walkable distance). Bathrooms relatively modern, but could be cleaner. No warm in the evening. Full, but some space available still for late arrivals. Loud at night in some areas (close to a major road). Fair price given the service and overall experience. This one proved to be a mistake. After having found a nice and shady spot under the trees, a tooth- and brainless redneck brigade nearby rolled out a 1500-watt boom box and blasted off, refusing to turn it down despite being friendly asked. Had to move over to a far less ideal spot. The booming disco music from the city ebbed off at ca 10PM only to be replaced by the fast and the furious on the 4-lane bridge nearby and the thunder of mile-long freight trains passing by. All this could not be outweighed by the friendly admin and restaurant services (at reasonable prices). This is clearly an overcrowded and poorly located camper facility (with no hot but the more filth and dirt in the showers in the evening hours). Nice calm and clean camping. Well, we stayed after the season there but i mean the stay there will be splendid in the season too. We parked our van in a part of camping where three selted camping places. We were very satisfied. We came to this place 2 campers, 4 young kids (2 kids under 4yo) and 4 adults. This campsite is not well maintained, the grass wasn’t mowed which made it not so nice to play on it. The street lights were off when it was dark, the road next to the camp is really loud! The showers were full of hair and when the filled the floor (the drainage was slow), all the hair and the dirt went up on my legs. We had hot and the stream was great. The price was 300 PLN for the night for both campers. We don’t think it worth it at all. Nice camper spots, clean bathrooms, convenient camper service.
