Such a delightful town. So pretty with interesting buildings round the marina. Full of restaurants, cafes, art galleries and of course soveigner shops. Saturday morning there is a market. An interesting wooden church is in the centrd. Well worth a visit. Such a gorgeous old French town. Well worth visiting for the huge street market on Saturdays. Incredibly popular, so expect crowds - but also take a stroll away from the market for some delightful little side streets. Loads of delicious food and drink stalls - and shops - lovely cafés too. Just go to soak up the ambience. Suggest parking out of by the old lighthouse (it was free when we visited and only 10 minutes walk from the centre). Our guide was very knowledgeable about Honfleur. It's a beautiful with lots of history. Plenty of lovely art galleries, too. An amazing little town. So much life and history. Great eateries around the water. Architecture amazing and an abundance of curio shops. Public parking easily accessed. Very cute area. The tall thin houses were cute and the art galleries and small stores were fun to look through. Good selection of cafes and eateries and a nice place to just stroll! Beautiful little town. Enjoyed some mussels and Calverdos, then a lemon and suger crepe for dessert. The wooden church and clock tower are incredible. A gorgeous and bustling place. The port is very beautiful and full of nice shops and restaurants. The Saint Catherine church is original. The city itself is full of charm. You can also have an amazing panorama view on the city from the Mont Joli, which is 10 minutes walk from the port. This is an excellent place to visit. We were on a cruise so only had a day to visit, but it is a pretty place. Lots to do and visit, especially the wooden church (Eglise Sainte Catherine) and the Chappelle Notre Dame de Grace with it's bells. Plus e enjoyed oysters, whelks and king prawns with a drink relaxing looking over the Le Vieux Bassin.
