We got the main course just a few minutes after we got the starters, which led to a quiet packed table. Service was super friendly and we felt welcome. The best thing is of course the view! The food was so good, we had the best lamb chops we had ever eaten. Everything is traditional, homemade and has a history behind it. If I could recommend some dishes: try the albanian sharing dishes with lamb chops on the side, ask for the skenderbeg dessert plate and end your meal with some grape raki (brewed since the 2000s). Arifi our waiter was so heartwarming and welcoming. We asked him to choose dishes from the menu we’d like and it was sososo good! The view, the food, the service, it was phenomenal. You can pay just with cash, but since I didn’t have any they made an exception and I could pay by card. The is probably the only thing here. The staff treats you as if you owe them. They were slow and lazy. They forgot orders. The best bit - they don’t tell you can’t boat by card. Truly the most welcoming dining I’ve ever had. Everyone coming to Krujë should stop by this I’m from the United States and they were very welcoming. We have a lot of food that I had never eaten from Albania. The lamb was the best I have eaten so far and the dessert was truly delicious. At the end we had their homemade pomegranate juice at the recommendation of our server and it was totally worth it!! Also came at the perfect time to watch the sunset and it had the best of the city and the sea.
