It's a shame you cannot sit underneath the roots of that one tree. My inner child wanted to be there. Helaas is het parkeren een gedoe. We hadden tot twee keer toe bijna een botsing omdat andere weggebruikers niet opletten. Jammer, want het doet af aan de verder heerlijke ervaring. It is split up in to a half where dog may roam free and a half where they should stay on a leash. In the middle is a large sanddune where a lot of dogs come to play. But it is also a great place to hike without a dog and just to get some fresh air. Though be aware: especially on sundays it can be quite busy. Just an average place in NL. You 20 minutes and hope that you will be alone there, but you will not be. Wonderful and well-maintained park, perfect for a relaxing in nature or a trail running.
