It's obviously a new establishment about getting a tax to go up for a to the pyramids, because the organisation wasn't very prepared for a bus of people. There isn't an was to go onto the if you're having troubles walking, too, but it will get fixed in time. Entry was 3bgn for adults and 2bgn for children. There are new benches on the way and trash bins, which is good. Molto bello e poco conosciuto. Un parco che si visita in poco tempo. Sono circa 3km andata e ritorno. Great value for money. Don't use Google maps once you get to the village, just follow signs. Nice but steep and at times scary walk but it for spectacular views. Restaurant at entrance is good value for money. Very beautiful place, but we were unable to do the because it had rained a lot, and it is very muddy and slippery when it rains. I recommend going when the weather is dry. PS: there are some very friendly dogs that like to accompany you on the :) Absolutely stunning and magnificent place! From the starting point to the highest you need to walk around 1km and the path is with average level of difficulty. It depends on your fitness, but do not underestimate the as some parts are steeper. Currently they make some renovations such as creating or renovating places for take a break, have some food and refreshments, or just to take a sit and enjoy the spectacular around. It takes up to 1h - 1,30h to up and down depending on how much time you will spend up there. You can combine with visiting the Rila Monastery which is around 30 min away from the Stob Pyramids. We were a bit unlucky. It was a very hot day, so the walk was actually quite tough! This is an interesting place to visit, one of Bulgaria's 100 national tourist objects and is definitely it. A day trip from Sofia, one hour with stunning and a lot of places for Instagram pictures. :) Great but did it in 33 degree heat and almost didn’t complete it. Nearly fell multiple times going down. It is a very rough hard trial in hot weather One of the most amazing I have seen, especially during sunset. You have a great panoramic of the valley, surrounded by fabulous mountains. It takes around 30 minutes to go uphill. Make sure to carry water with you especially when it's hot Wow. Costs 5 bgn to go up, price goes towards maintaining the trail. The climb up is very hard, but lots of places to stop and rest (in good repair and freshly painted when we were there). Way down isn't so either, i highly recommend using walking sticks. We were there in mid june, and the path was lined with wild flowers, butterflies and small lizards. We barely made it to the top (we're in our 60's) but the climb was well it. The is amazing and the "pyramids" are truly fascinating. At the trailhead there's a showerhead in the bathroom (clean) and a place to fill bottles. Look for the storks in their nests on the road to the trailhead! Not for the out of shape, but well it if you can do it. Най- елементарното нещо е на забележителности да има налични тоалетни...такива има изградени с европейските пари ,но заключени ...Няма стигнем скоро Европа... I've been here twice. Very nice trail, it's a bit harder at the end, but overall and suitable for kids as well. You should avoid it on rainy days because there are some slippery sections which will be extremely hard in the wet. If you have the time, you can also take the small road below the (it's visible from the top), so you can check the from below as well. You can also take a very small and steep to get down (it's around the middle of the main trail), but you should be careful. There are plenty of parking spaces near the ticket office, so don't worry about that. Unusual nature phenomen. Worth to visit in a good sunny day for the best panoramic view. 40 - 45 min to go up, 30 to come back. It's more for young or in good health. No sense to go on the top, will say last 50m These are beautiful formations that are absolutely seeing. The scenery alone in getting to the entrance to the trailhead is the trip. The up to the formations was also great taking about 30-40 minutes. There are lots of beautiful panoramic views. Be sure to wear proper footwear. Also, there are clean modern restrooms at start of trailhead. Our family loved the experience and we have seen southern Utah. We had a tour guide that was wonderful as well. Well, well... if you are nearby then it's oke to visit - why not. It's total +-30minutes of experience overall for 4 leval(cash only). And we all have half and hour free time to spare. But in my opinion this place is not it. It's just a 'hill' with some minor sand-cone formations with 'not so-great' panorama at the end. There are so many other points with better and for free(for example - close to Rila town there is a nice hill with a cross) . And for sand-cone lovers(its offensive to real piramids to call them piramids) i would recommend either - Melnik area - which is better - or Capadocia in... Turkey. Nice of interesting rock formations, and a very well maintained trail. But unlike what most reviews are saying, this is not an trail. It climbs an elevation difference of 200 meters - walking up this is equivalent to going up a 70 story building. Most can do this in around an hour, but will need to rest multiple times during the ascent. Going in a big group with more or less fit together will be frustrating for all of them, so consider allowing the group to split during the climb. Vaselisa was the woman at the ticket office and she was so kind! I would go back just for her! The were also nice with a slightly challenging hike. Very interesting but not very popular place. 40-45 minutes of for one of the wonders of the nature in Bulgaria. Recommend going there when it’s dry and also take water with you as you will get thirsty and there is no water on the way. Symbolic entry fee at the parking lot. Stob Pyramid trail A nice with a beautiful view. The length of the is 1.5 km in each direction (returning to the same point from which you started). The entire takes about 2 hours with a lot of stops. The itself is well marked to walk. There is a moderate climb at the beginning and then at the end, it is steeper but still reasonable and also relatively short, I would define it as an route. (I couldn't find what is the height differences). Along the route, there are benches for resting and also some picnic tables and even a swing. In my opinion the is more beautiful than a natural phenomenon they call pyramids. Here are some pictures for impressions. During the way we saw 2 people... we were her on Apr 18. Around 30-40 min to the top, were great and the were clearly visible. had arrows so you can’t get lost, would recommend visiting only if ur in the area
