Amazing Irish pub in the heart of Zagreb. Inside it really feels like you’re in Ireland, not Croatia. The beer is tasty, is and is very kind towards all guests. Only place you can watch GAA matches and here are great. There is regular live Irish music on Thursday and popular table quiz on Wednesday. Very nice staff. Sound customers and good chat. An enjoyable spot for a few sociable scoops. I went there with two Galway City supporters to try and watch a league game and they were so helpful in facilitating the lads. They were watching a local league game, but gladly found and switched for us. Very sound. You can also go get food nearby and bring it back to eat in the pub if you wish. Cool spot This is probably my favorite "third place" in Zagreb and a spot to meet expats and locals alike. There's a bona fide Irishman behind the counter! Cheap drinks, cozy atmosphere, darts, lots of events (e.g. pub quiz on Wednesdays, live Irish music on Thursdays, and probably the only place they'll show rugby games without making a fuss) ... this place has it all! Truly Irish, relsxing, a perfect place for the velvety O'Hara. Feels a bit like going back in time. The beer is slightly more expensive but the is worth it. They have O’Haras Stout which might be an alternative but it’s still not Guinness. It was quiet when we visited and it’s pretty far from the centre, but I can imagine the place would be good when it’s busy.
