Zamek jest mało zamkowy, jest głównie obiektem użyteczności publicznej i miejscem pracy różnych instytucji. W części zamku przeznaczonej do zwiedzania jest muzeum instrumentów ludowych, a w drugiej części muzeum historii regionu. Zamek jest potencjałem niewykorzystanych możliwości, chyba potrzeba mu jakiegoś rzutkiego organizatora. Po zwiedzaniu i wizycie w ładnym parku można usiąść na dziedzińcu na filiżankę kawy. Super. This castle is fantastic, I was commanding the defence and the walls were strong enough for catapult shooting. Great experience to see the castle with beautiful landscape around. It’s really close to Radom, so you can visit that city either to see the beautiful old Polish architecture. We visited it from Spain 🇪🇸 Zamek w Szydłowcu to miejsce pełne historii i legend, w których wspomina się nawet o tajemnych korytarzach prowadzących w miasto. Najbardziej urzekło mnie jednak piękne, rozłożyste drzewo obok zamku – wyjątkowe i niesamowite. Warto też przejść trasą od zamku na rynek i dalej uliczką rzeczną nad zalew – spokojny, klimatyczny spacer, który świetnie dopełnia wizytę. Great place for a walk but don't expect to spend more than 30 minutes here, it's tiny. I really recommend checking the exhibition inside, lots of Polish history is on display there. Beautiful castle.
