Wat Thaï Dhammaram

Brussels, Belgium Buddhist temple

Wonderful place. 💖💖💖😇🌲🌳🌿 Abt is a charm and so nice. Temple is a relaxed place. I was there due to dad event. They prayed for us. So great full. Free temple. Very friendly Thai monks and Thai People. A bit far away from Brussels. Likely one of the largest Thai Buddhist temples in Belgium. The Thai community gathers every first and third Sunday of each month for a food market where you can eat on the spot or as takeaway. There are often side activities like "tam boon", meaning giving donations in return for blessings, and other types of ceremonies / celebrations according to the Buddhist calendar. The temple itself is nothing spectacular: it's a regular Belgian villa refurbished as a temple. It has no architectural value. A very nice way to travel to Thailand, hidden in a corner in Waterloo. Behind the temple is a little food market. We were here in January and there was not so much choice in groceries. Fortunately there were several food stalls open so we could rediscover the Thai kitchen. There is a big tent in which you can sit to eat. When we were eating there there was no heating... luckily for me I ordered the spicy noodles :) Très agréable. Plus autant de stands qu'avant, mais cela reste une petit évasion... Friendly and welcoming place in a residential neighborhood. There was food and beverages. Luang Po and the other monks are very outgoing and make an effort to include people. From Brussels it is quite an effort to get there by public transportation; connect somewhere to bus W or 365a, get off at Mont Saint Jean-stop . Wonderful place! The residing Luangpo (Buddhist priest) is very kind and helpful. He teaches Dhamma well. It's a blessing we have him in Belgium! Sunday Happy, Peace, Respect and Smile. At Temple Pray for Peace, Respect, love... its open everyday?and which time open&close? Thank you so much for the hospitality and the great kindness for receiving me and my daughter.Thank you for the beautiful meditation and all the kind words that sooth my soul and assure me that the world is a beautiful place full of amazing and good hearted people. Thank you for being here in Brussels, Waterloo, and making this place more liveable and humanised. Voici un lieux de paix et donc les Moines Bouddhistes sont d'une gentillesse sans limites.
