A fantastic restaurant with a beautiful terrace and a view of the magical Damuhari Bay. The food is excellent. Seafood and Greek barbecue (gyros and souvlaki) are both excellent. You can personally choose fresh seafood from the aquarium. The service is fast and accurate. The prices are favorable. There is free parking near by. We had dinner here. Excellent food. Views amazing and owners were incredible. All the food we had was great and we coincided with a wedding which made it even better Great love location! Accomodation is good and clean and owner is great/ the whole hotel is run like a family business and you feel that! Breakfast was literally 1 boiled/fried egg. With a basket of break and jams and honey, a little yogurt and filer coffee and a literally a shot of orange juice . ‘Breakfast could and should be improved or don’t serve it at all because it’s like you teasing the customers. Very laid back family run hotel - I loved that about this place! The decor inside the main building of the hotel is really like a museum! Very interesting and weird! Overall great place to stay and well worth it ! You have everything a foot step away! Beach restaurants food ! We also ate at the restaurant on our first night! The most crazy this is that the waitresses and waiters walk around barefoot and waiter on you! So the atmosphere is relaxed and super cool. The food was good- we didn’t have cooked food but we ordered fresh fish! Salad and chips! The chips are amazing and so was the fish! No complaints ! Amazing location and view. The service was not great and the food was okay. When we were here, there was a soccer match playing so it was very noisy. The stuffed vine leaves were amazing but the fish and meat were too salty and a bit overcooked There is not even one meal we did not like at Taverna To Karagatsi! We came here many times and were never disappointed! It is a family run business, with kids serving the food that mama cooks. They always give us something on the house - either the dessert, or a drink. The atmosphere is absolutelly fantastic, traditional Greek! Nice, friendly owners with artsy, cozy, and most importantly, pet-friendly apartments, plus a wonderful tavern overlooking the sea that serves super-delicious food.🥂 We had a magical time eating dinner here after our time at the beach nearby. The family that runs the place is just like out of a movie. The lady that runs it, looks so much like Meryl Streep, which is a cute reference, since a scene from Mama Mia was filmed in the bay below. Food was absolutely delicious, the potatoes and the ntolmadakia being an absolute highlight. We loved the music, the setting, the whole experience was one of the beat we had in Greece so far and fantastic value for money. Thank you we will return.
