We went horse backriding with Avenir and had a time. The are very well kept and riding through the Albanian backcountry is a experience. Avenir took lots of pictures and videos, so we could focus on enjoying the ride. We were in a group of mixed riding abilities but those of us who were more proficient were allowed a bit of galloping towards the end. All in all a day out We had an unforgettable adventure today with Funky Adventures! Everything was perfectly organized, safe, and so much fun. Our guide, Macho, was absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, professional, and with a sense of humor that made the whole even more enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking, the rapids were exciting but never felt unsafe, and Macho made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. He explained everything clearly, kept the group motivated, and added a personal touch that turned the trip into a truly memorable day We went horse trekking into the foothills, across a small river to some beautiful upland meadows. My husband, as a complete beginner, loved the and felt like a cowboy 🤠 Good safety briefing, equipment and well behaved horses. We were a group of 6 plus 2 guides. It was fun. Highly recommend this experience. I booked the horseriding for me before I left home and the whitewater for the whole whilst there. The are well cared for and the guides made it fun. Excellent morning, fab people and a way to see the country. The whitewater was excellent for all the family. The guides made it feel personal, don't be daunted by the numbers. The Guest house is very central and has a bar downstairs which is perfect for watching the world go by. We did the horse trekking and experiences during our stay and can't recommend them highly enough. I haven't been on a horse for a few years and my partner had never been on a horse before but the was 10/10. They have for all levels of riders and the route changes accordingly. The also exceeded all expectations and is just stunning, as you pass down the Vjosa river. Highly recommended!! 🤩🤩 During our stay in Permet we enjoyed Horse Trekking and rafting. Both activities were fantastic and a real highlight of our in Albania. We were a group of 5 with 3 teenagers and all of us had a time. The guides were incredibly friendly and these activities were both ways to see the beautiful scenery. If you come to Permet we would highly recommend Funky Adventures! We have made amazing memories. We had an amazing trekking tour with the horses! Our guide Avenir was absolutely fantastic – there was music, gave clear explanations, and made the whole even more special. The group was small, which made it feel very personal, and the route took us through the most beautiful nature. Halfway, we had a lovely lunch stop with fresh fruit, nuts, refreshing drinks – everything was perfectly arranged. The were all very calm and well-behaved, which made it for our family. We went with two adults and our children aged 8, 10, and 12, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the stunning nature of Albania in such a unique way. with Funky adventures in Vjosa river is one of the best experiences my and I have had for a long time. I was born in one of the villages further up the stream close to the border with Greece, and I thought I knew it all, however this trip offered me a completely new perspective, and a cocktail of feelings and emotions. Pumping adrenaline when going down the rough waters foaming over the rocks, triggering a sense of fear when entering the caves eroded by the fast flow of water over millennia, soaking in the majestic mountain views and local vegetation, as well as listening to the silence of nature in one of the many slow and sleepy stretches of the river.
