Visited today, amazing views, great coffee, beautiful rooms 40 years ago, this was a very interesting and historic place to visit. Now, it is a hostel and events venue. It has lost its character. This castle shows off the history of the local area, being a short drive, and a must see, if your staying around steyr. When I went there it was closed but that didn't matter to me as it was still really cool to see a castle. There are also a few goats that Rome around the place which is pretty cool. Good for hiking. Mostly comfortable. Avoid if it has rained recently or the soil is wet. It can get quite slippery.
