Our group of 10 enjoyed lunch here during our visit to the cable car and Turaida. A friendly person helped us select from the two menus and the wall listed menu. We paid first then they brought our food. I tried sweet potato Fries with a creamy sauce and a local Kombucha. Other chose a salad with blueberries, pesto, greens, radishes, almonds, and light dressing. Another salad included greens and chicken. Others chose potato pancakes with salmon and cottage cheese. Local beers were great. Indoor and uncovered outdoor seating. Great stop in the area. We had a quick stop here to get some coffee before going to Turaidas Castle as it’s 2 min walk from cafe and also the car parking is just there. Easy access to toilets. Lots of seating area outside and inside. Prices were reasonable and food options looked very good too. Thought this would be a tourist trap but it was truly a lovely spot! Great food options - can highly recommend the potato pancakes with salmon. Super kind service as well. It definitely does not look like it from the outside, but the food is absolutely delicious. We had a lunch for four and didn’t wait at all, the waitress spoke great english and was very friendly. Prices are great also. The food is delicious and looks just like on the photos on the menu. The interior of the restaurant is modern and so is their equipment. Very nice! Totally worth it! The potato 🥔 pancakes with salmon hit the spot—super tasty and satisfying. And the coffee - Smooth, flavorful, and just what you need to start the day right ☕ Trully recommend. Vegan and vegetarian options for normal meal with protein, tofu bowl is really nice, fresh veggies and fruits, strawberry tasted super good, tofu as well, i only wouldnt recommend a peanut souse, too midl for me, i think something sour or salty would go better with it but im definitely sure there wouldnt be a problem with changing it if someone has the same taste as me. My guy was also very happy with his chicken with fries. We happened to meet the owner, really sweet lady, proud of her business and hardworking (on her own 22.04), speaks english well. Prices seem fair, especially comparing with Riga's. Definitely worth it. We had a delicious cold soup – it was really tasty! We didn’t try other dishes, but they looked great. Prices were also very reasonable. A very nice little gem! My expectations were not very high, so I was really pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty, portions quite big, and the prices were really reasonable (we ordered the fried chicken, the burger, and the potato pancakes with salmon, as well as two drinks and a coffee, and it all cost around 50 euros). The staff later went the extra mile to help us finding our bag after hours, so for service I'd give 100/10! I sincerely recommend this place!
