Surprisingly excellent food in the restored Taujėnai manor house. We really didn't expect such high quality food and service in a rural area! Prices were a small fraction of what we would have paid in Vilnius (good beef steak for 15 EUR). If this place were in Vilnius or Kaunas, they'd be one of the best places in town. Grilled pork fillets were great, served with home fried potatoes and a very large green salad (7,50 EUR). Try the homemade mochito lemonade. Was very happy with the food, shrimps and fish that we ate were very delicious. Waitress was nice as well. Service was slightly slow due to the high number of visitors however we were warned about that in advance. There was outdoor and indoor seating. As well a nice park to walk around. Quite a big parking lot just a minute or two walk from a restaurant. Really recommend this place. Pačios geriausios rekomendacijos!
