It is not the oldest monastery, but the frescoes are beautiful. Absolutely wonderful. monastery. We stopped on the way to Struga. This is being meticulously restored. Majority is already open for visitors and it is worth to stop and enjoy the beauty. And NO photos inside the church....that means also no videos inside or trying to take a photo of the entrance from outside ;) place to visit! Still in construction some parts but accessible Holy place where you can find peace and people ✨️ Wonderful The is the most fairytale that arrived from the Heaven and Angels that are singing divinely Liturgia ✨️ ❤️ The feeling once you step inside the monestray is magical like you are totally out of the world. The way the church is kept takes you back as if you travelled back in time. Thanks to the lady who explained to us the history of the place and gave us alot of info excellent Utterly beautiful. If you dont stop here, you are a fool! A fool I say! Well, perhaps not ... but it is absolutely and very much worth the quick stroll. The nuns produce mitres for the catholic church here. True craftswomen. One quick note, if you are parking up then try and snag the little spot up near the road just as you pull off. The drive back up from the bottom car park is STEEP. Gorgeous church, currently having further construction done. Parking difficult as road down is loose gravel, excited to revisit in future.
