Food is purchasable for £2 and comes in a bucket containing 3 different coloured cups with a key to show which eat which food. Outside are hard ground and suitable for pushchairs. Play include: a large indoor climbing / soft area, an outside playground with swings, climbing with slides and a tractor to sit on and a huge beach / sandpit indoors too. Cafe has lovely decor and balcony seating overlooking the goats. Hand washing and toilets were also plentiful and very well equipped for - even a children's seat hanging up for use in each cubicle. Finally I wanted to thank the member of staff (I think it was Evan) who expertly extracted a large splinter from one of our party's hands! Great place - we'll definitely be back again. Fantastic day out for and adults. Plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor activities and all for a reasonable entry price. Bucket of food can be bought for £2. Went today and the weather was dry. Lots of to pet, and interact with. Great cafe with delicious food and drink. My friend, her daughter and myself enjoyed it immensely. Previously I had a 5 star review here but today's experience in April 2025 was really disappointing. There's clearly been a lot of investment in new playgrounds and indoor cafe spaces, but the standards have slipped elsewhere. We came for the afternoon arriving at 1, figured we'd grab lunch as the food used to be reasonable, it now verges pricey if the quality isn't perfect, with very little in terms of "grab and sit down" savoury. My daughter wanted to eat quickly as she was excited to go in. Her kid's sandwich literally had blue bread, given the huge turn over of customers we saw, I can only assume bread is brought in bulk to keep costs down and used all week, mould on a meal is unacceptable. 3 of the 5 snacks had also ran out. Where else are they cutting corners? The person taking the order at the til needs to keep an eye on the stock of sausages rolls etc, they sold us 2 sausage rolls and a cheese & onion slice, we ended up with a cake and a sausage roll. The poor staff dealt with complaints and substitution more than serving. Move the counter and simple foods together so the til person can serve it if needs be, we saw this issue happen to at least 5 others. The hand washing station had no tissue for over 2 hours and most soap dispensers empty. Either restock regularly or get hand dryers. Almost all the buckets in the sand pit were broken meaning the sand probably has sharp plastic in it along with the twigs and leafs from the dead ivy in there. The huts in the sandpit were covered in dead insects. The whole section needs closing and a deep clean. The larger cows were missing on our visit, replaced with a large playground which means any child easily distracted will be desperate to skip the and go instead. A word of warning, the larger playground section looks like it has fences up top from one side but on the other side a balancing beam about 7 or 8 feet off the ground with no netting or protection, there's a corner without fencing to make way for this meaning any child looking at other or running too fast etc could fall out. We had to leave this as soon as we found this. The meet and greets were a nice addition though the sheep with it's tail hanging off did upset some other people's and I feel like it would have been better to address/explain it by the guide. The thing that gets me is it feels run down and chaotic now, which as we're only just entering spring makes no sense, lots of sections feel in need of a deep or basic safety addressing, but surely they knew spring was coming. The review should be 1 star, but I do see investment in some areas. Just needs quality bringing back to the forefront and not number of visitors. The staff are generally but management needs to take a step back and look with fresh eyes. Currently not worth the £15 per person, including kids. Had a time with family. Just a few things to know, definitely wear wellies and do not take strollers for outside walk as it's super muddy, so you won't be able to push it. Also, you can't walk around. You will need to turn around and walk all the way back. Even though it was a bit difficult, my daughter was amazing, and my daughter absolutely loved feeding all the animals, and she really enjoyed the inside after. The are so well cared for, you can purchase food buckets to take around the with you, to get up close to the and them, there is even for the to go and pet the smaller fluffies, like the bunnies and guinea pigs. The Cafe offers a wide range of cold and hold food, get there early though as the sausage rolls go fast! The staff are super friendly and very polite. The cost is also very good value for money. It's our fourth visit and we always have such a lovely time. They also hold special events for the whole family including Halloween specials and even a Christmas event with a chance to see Santa. What's not to love. Lovely little for young kids, very well planned out, lot's for them to do including petting area, sand pit, park and indoor area, food is very nice too, thanks. Lovely day out, even on a wet day as much of the is under covers. There are outdoor but you won't be disappointed on rainy days. The food was really nice and substantial, however the favourite, Jacket potato, was out of stock on the day we went. Good parking and plenty of it, facilities and soft included in the entry price. Visited today..lots of to see and feed, all look well looked after in hutches/pens etc. Think that it is very expensive for ages up to 4 ( it's £12.50 for 2 and over) because the outside which looks amazing is not suitable for 2 - 4 year olds, it's far too difficult for that age. The main inside is also not suitable for 2 year olds on their own, and I couldn't get up to help without putting my shoes on!! I think it's a lot of money for that age when they can't use all the facilities. It's also £3 for a bucket of food so for 2 adults and a 2 year old it was £40.50. Very expensive for a couple of hours. The is a lovely experience for children, but really expensive for what it is. On top of the steep entrance fee they charge £3 extra for a bucket to the animals. In this bucket was a tiny measly quantity of carrot tops which ran out after the first guinea pigs. I even had to pay for my grandson to get in who has just turned 1. Just ridiculous. He doesn’t even come out of the pushchair. The soft is dirty and they are obsessed with ringing the bell to end sessions, even when the place is quiet with only one child in there. My grandsons socks were filthy after he had been in there for half an hour. The cost for this is £5 which I think is over the top. The woman serving behind the cafe was miserable I went to find a seat with pushchair, bags and grandson, ordered a coffee and she just left it on the side. Didn’t even bring it over to help me, even though I was the only one in there. Sorry this place needs to improve for me to return. I’ve heard a lot of people saying the same. We absolutely love this farm! It’s the perfect place for a family outing. My little one had so much fun interacting with the — from feeding the goats to petting the bunnies, there’s so much to see and do. The playground is fantastic too, with plenty of space for to run around and enjoy themselves. The is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s such a great, safe environment for to explore and learn. We can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend this place for a fun and memorable day out!
