To be able to learn about the Grolsh beer, the history, the process, the people of Grolsh, it was incredible indeed. I only gave 4 stars as the was strictly in Dutch and our guide didn't make the slightest effort to tell us anything. We felt left out as she ignored us the whole time. The factory has an audio guide and you will get minimal info from there. We used Google translate to be able to understand what was posted there. Maybe the factory can add explanations in other languages as well. Even the survey was only in Dutch. Simone was an absolute pleasure on our tour! She ran the in English and Dutch and accommodated every member present. You could tell by the way she spoke and interacted with us that she loves her job and is passionate about the intricacies involved in mass product production, and the Grolsch brand. Grolsch is very lucky to have her as a part of their company! Great factory and lots to see and taste. Language is an issue though. I booked 6 months in advance for our group of 6 (specifying that we speak German and English) but we ended up in a fully Dutch together with quite a few other non-Dutch speakers. Still interesting and the audio guide helps a bit but you’d expect at least English to be available. Amazing Experience.
