Naast Ton Schulten een separate expositie van een andere kunstenaar ( naam onbekend) Good art collection Not my scene...but must suit many others A "must see" museum, named after local artist Ton Schulten, and built to house his colorful vibrant, large canvases of Dutch countryside portrayed geometrically and DRENCHED in block colour. He started painting in 1989 and quickly became collectable. He has been celebrated by Dutch royalty and politicians and his home town of Ootmarsum where a square is also named after him. His more recent paintings are sold in a local gallery for €10,000 to €30,000. Fantastic place! I recommend it! Very interesting place Mooie museumwinkel. Museum zelf is niet toegankelijk met de museumjaarkaart, alleen tegen betaling. In de buurt zijn galerieën die ook zijn werk tonen. Geen noodzaak om dan het museum te bezoeken. Wel prachtig werk!!
