My experience at Actief Twente, where you can rent scooters, bikes, e-choppers, tuc-tucs, and other items, was overall quite positive. Renting the various modes of transport was easy, and the staff was helpful in explaining the options. The only drawback was the additional charge for a phone holder, which I found a bit annoying, as it's a practical necessity for navigation and safety. Nonetheless, the quality of the rented vehicles and the ease of the service made it a convenient choice for exploring the area. We rented e-choppers, the booking on the website went well and was really easy. Two days before our trip we got a nice email with all explanations, link to free routes in an app on the phone, etc. Also the explanation on site was okay. The choppers as such are pretty old and look really used but were riding still fine. What we really found a pity is that despite that free routes are being offered there is nothing to hold your phone. I mean, it cannot be suggested to hold it in your hand right? But for the rest nice environment but some things are not really well thought out Service was not smooth for our group and lack of Vegetarian options even though we were asked about such options when making our reservation. Very well organised. Friendly and helpful staff. I really like how they have set up an App with pre-planned routes to follow. It works really well.
