Good acoustics, nice venue. Don't let the 80's interior fool you. Nice programming of bigger names. Regularly runs programming together with poppodium Metropool I was pleasantly surprised by the acoustics. The great hall is large, with a high ceiling, but the sound (at row 3) was intimate and even a bit dry, but very smooth. To me, it is now my second favorite concert hall, right below De Vereeniging in Nijmegen. Great venue! Small but great acoustics and feels professional and clean. Lovely centered location in Enschede giving guests the opportunity to see the old centre and easily go for a drink or some food. Nice museum. Went to see the Werner Herzog exhibition. Very well-organised and interesting. The free guided tour did not add any extra value though. Great Hall, excellent light show and production Had a truly amazing time during basic grooves.
