One of the Best Places To Visits in Golești Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very location not far from Bucharest. You need a few to see everything...I totally recomand to have minimum 4-5 to cover everything. Restored traditional villlage complete with an Orthodox wooden church several hundred years old. About two to three A great place and way to spend your day. Prepare yourself for a long walk tho :). You will be tired but it's worth it. Next time we will go prepared for a picnic 🧺 too. This is quite likely the most amazing in the Argeș area, and there are a few to choose from. This particular place has an amazing blend of history and an old mansion, together with the (by my assessment) the biggest collection in Romania of traditional wooden drom the 19th and early 29th century. Some even from the 18th. The are decorated appropriately for the region they come from and most are open to visitors. They cover all of Romania's historical regions from as high North in Maramureș and Suceava to down South near the Danube and as far east as the Danube Delta to the west in Banat. It was so we went twice in a week, as in the initial 2 we felt we didn't absorb everything. And now after about 5 in it, feels we could have spent 5 more Highly recommended, amazing place only 15mn by train from Pitești. A very surprise to discover this well preserved open air village museum. Dedicated people and a rich collection of traditional and a turkish bath house. Will visit again! A really place, with many cats. We really enjoyed our walk. place to visit for a few hours. It's close to Bucharest via A1 so fast to get there. The mansion is very well preserved and the furniture looks genuine. There are 6 rooms that you can visit on the ground floor and although there is a ladder, one cannot access the upper floor. There is also a huge garden transformed into a village which holds many village buildings some of which can be entered. and the gardens of the are very well maintained. There is a raiding center so if you're up for it you can ride a horse or a ponney. They also have a zip line (maybe aprox 70 meters) Lack of nearby places to eat or diverse activities is a minus but overall worth the tine as the place is quiet and air is clean. Really place to go, only one hour from Bucharest. A lot nicer than the Village in Bucharest. are more taken care of, you can go inside them, display is amazing. The place is huge, there are a lot of fruit trees. One of the best places to go on the weekend. Really experience: + nature+ history. Well maintained. We enjoyed walking around in the fields flowers. Not all was opened ( we have been in a week time). Playground for kids, possibility to ride a horse and a pony. If the kid would be bigger we could stay the whole day there. We did n9t find a restaurant. A really surprise, + nature + history. It's worth visiting especially for the outdoor that's quite big and filled with old traditional and old equipments. You get to see how people used to live as you can enter some and all the yards are available for visiting, will definitely recommended it. The place itself is very well managed and beautiful, but the story makes all the difference, so make sure you have a guide to tell it to you. Also the village in the back is very nice. Kind of good! It' interesting to know more of romanian schools Super!
