They don't serve food, but happy for us to bring fish and chips in from up the road and enjoy a good pint. Great atmosphere, locals. Lovely pub, lots of pictures of various artists who have played Slane Castle on the wall. Quiet when we were there, but it was close to closing time. Unchanged for centuries this feels, and Best pour in Southern Ireland so far! Delicious and can’t improve on perfection 🇮🇪 recommend the local slain whiskey. Proper traditional pub in the heart of Slane. I have to say that the Barman was so and welcoming. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Slane to pop-in and have a drink. Without doubt the most beautiful pub in Slane. Lovely homely pub with some great music especially the Wednesday sessions. The Saturday we were here the lady working was so and had a word for everyone. Well worth a visit This is a fantastic pub with a great and lovely staff. We were lucky enough to watch Ireland play Wales in the 6 nations - what crack and atmosphere. And a lovely pint of Guinness too. A great Irish Pub. No food (you can buy it elsewhere and bring it in to eat), but a great atmosphere. Heavily populated by very locals. We were there on a Wednesday, and treated to an evening of traditional Irish music with musicians coming and going all night. We made fast friends with Gavin and his wife who were celebrating his dad Sam's birthday. we could not have been welcomed more warmly or treated any better by all there. If I could give this bar 10 stars I would. We came on a Wednesday and were treated to an amazing sing along acoustic music session, lovely pints, brilliant staff and just an unreal atmosphere. this place is AMAZING! I used to live in Slane 12 years ago working as an au pair and remembered this pub as being brilliant. Came back this week, specifially to take my partner there and show him Slane and this pub, it's now his favourite pub too! Staff are so nice and very good and their job, live music is brilliant and the guiness is the best you'll have! Great pub and a smashing pint. One of the best Pubs I've been to in years.. phenomenal Guinness Outstanding Barman.. Tastiest pints of Guiness this end of the country. Staff are lovely and there's always a nice around the pub. My wife and I visited Boyle's Wednesday 14th of May 2025. It is definitely one of the highlights of our two week Ireland trip. Our new found friends Gavin and his wife, and Sam and Biddie (sp?) and another man we met in the back beer garden, were some of the most friendly, warm and welcoming people on the planet. We joined them inside for a night a traditional Irish music that packed the house. Everyone had a great time. Can't wait to go back!
