Nice, quiet Costa shop. Good place to meet up with friends for a chat. My biggest issue with Costa is that the large has the same number of shots (3) as a medium coffee. So, all you're paying for is extra water or milk. If you get any syrup in your large you will not be able to taste it so that's another issue. All in all, the itself isn't great either. In short, avoid Costa if at all possible. If there are no other options don't get a large anything and don't pay the extra for syrup you won't be able to taste. I waiting for something else and i waited in there for around an hour and they were grand, it's not like I can physically walk around the shops with my leg, and they were real nice, decent cleaned up around me but no hassle which would have been understandable in fairness, ha Not a very friendly barista. I was getting for someone in the hospital as everything was closed and she clearly showed me she is not happy I have arrived 15 minutes before closing. The cake itself looked to have a lump taken out of it (see attached picture). When I got my on the try she shoved it across the till counter towards me saying 'There'. It spilled over the sides and ruined the froth, cup, and presentation. Then I asked for tissues to wipe it clean (myself). She rolled her eyes 😆. I held up the line on purpose at that stage, taking my time in cleaning her mess. To be fair, there was plenty of room to sit and the Irish staff seemed friendly. was decent. Always nice place clean friendly staff. Just the price would stop me using it every day .it's become a luxury treat for me personally. I prefer other places at a reasonable price. Definitely one of the best places in drogheda and the staff are amazing. Some say it’s pricey but the quality is excellent and you get what you pay for. Great power point access for your phone etc and parking is great too. The two young girls on the till and machine today were absolutely lovely! So friendly and helpful, great coffee.
