It's a fantastic easy mountain for some skiing, offers an easy park for young kids and has a ski-rental that isn't to expensive. The organization makes sure there is wood for the BBQ's all year around, which is awesome if you wanna grill some sausages or burgers after your day of skiing. In the summer you can walk up on the mountain and enjoy a campfire at the top. We didn't try the ski slopes. But we used a snow racer in the kid slope Training all year-round So I have visited this place many times the past couple of winters. Sundsvall kommun does an amazing job providing a winter paradise. Yesterday I was up at frilufts centrum, the lift eas on for mtb at sidsjöbacken. I rode the most amazing flow trail that connects the 2 venues, I couldn't believe how awesome it was. Well done to everyone involved in developing this place for summer and winter, just a shame I live 4 hours away and can't get here as often as I would like! Good slopes even for a begginer like me!! It was really good to remove the rust from my begginer level skills! They have everything we need, including the amazing time there! Great slopes both for children and adults. There is a seperate childrens slope with less gradient which makes it an excellent beginners slope. The main slope is always prepped with rails, boxes and jumps of different sizes. The main slope aint that steep. There is as well a seperate area just for sledding. Lots of opportunities to start a campfire a specific locations and a café. Beauty small ski station to spend some hours enjoying the snow sidsjöbacken är en mycket fin backe jag bruka åka skidor här på sommaren för då är det fint väder men jag bruka inte åka på vintern för då är det så kalt och då är det också många som åker då så det blir mycket kö i liftarna. Would particularly recommend for beginners but definitely enjoyable for experienced skiers too Apart from you can also do cross country skiing, dip in the icy water of the lake, ice skating around the lake,walking around the lake,tobogganing. The ski rental is great,very professional. Lovely little café and a separate heated hut where you can enjoy your own food. Great bbq available where logs are provided. Even at the top of the mountain there is a bbq with logs. Brilliant place 👏 We had a great time. Its was awsome! There are different hills to go and on the small hill there are multiple fun obstacles.And all of the people that work there are really cheerful and helpful.
