Excellent service. I bought SMEG kettle D&G edition back in December 2023 and had problem with the sticker. I thought being in Saudi Arabia will not help in fixing this problem and the local dealer refused to accept the kettle. But the MOHD store (Angelo specifically) initiated shipment and replaced the kettle through SMEG in Italy. I appreciate the support and the time they put to fix the problem and I encourage everyone to deal with MOHD store. Amazing service. During shipment the table we ordered got damaged through no fault of MOHD - but the way Marilena from MOHD handled it was outstanding. The response time was very low and she immediately made sure we get a replacement the soonest possible. She let us know expected time of arrival from beginning and even though there wasn't much of a delay in second delivery, she regularly kept us up to date and informed. Shopping at Mohd has been the absolute worst e-commerce experience of my entire life. I ordered a Louis Poulsen lamp and George Nelson clock at what seemed like a significant discount compared to other stores. They arrived to my home in Oregon in perfect condition, but when I went to them, that’s when the nightmare began. When I decided to both because of how poor the quality is on such expensive items, I had a brief email exchange with Angelo, who warned me that if the packaging was even *slightly* blemished, they would not accept the return. The lamp’s packaging was IMPOSSINLE to open without tearing two cardboard flaps inside the box. He warned me that this would prevent me from being refunded… Absolute bullshit. How can anyone shop online under these conditions? Even if I had been able to the items per Mohd’s ridiculous policy that internal packaging MUST be pristine and brand new to qualify for a refund, the base shipping quote back to Italy was over $1000, exceeding the cost of the two items… When I asked Angelo if anything could be done, he offered a label for over $500, meaning with all the customs fees and other costs I would have lost over $700 on an $1100 order… Absolutely terrible company that clearly hates its customers and is only out to make as much money as possible.
