We had a lovely farm stay. It was our first stop in Slovenia and it was definitely a good one! The is very very nice and welcoming. We stayed in the 4 person room in the main house. We had asked if it was okay that we are five and our preschooler usually sleeps with us. They arranged for some extra bedding for us, which was so nice! Breakfast has everything you need, lots of homemade goodies. And the dinner is especially very good! A five course menu that changes daily and where they offer alternatives for allergies and picky children 🙈 for €32 is also available for guests staying elsewhere (call ahead to make reservations). The dining room is well stocked with brochures and maps on the area. Had an incredible experience! The nicest served us dinner, felt like I was apart of the family. And the food was incredible. So fresh, straight from the farm. A very quiet and peaceful place located in a beautiful hilly area with views of high mountains, about a 20–25 minute drive from Drežnica or Kobarid. Fairly close to hiking trails. The property is run by two generations of the same family. The hosts are very kind, polite, open, and extremely helpful. The food served is homemade, absolutely delicious, and made mostly from ingredients grown by the owners. I wholeheartedly recommend it! What a wonderful location and very friendly, hospitable owners. Amazing five-course dinner and breakfast made with their own farm-grown ingredients. Definitely worth the cycle up here! Highly recommend staying/eating/visiting Jelenov if you are in the area! We stayed two nights in our camper and ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, all the food is local and mostly from their garden and farm.
